Beautiful (Beachy) Bedroom In Home On Pudget Sound In Downtown Edmonds

Bedrooms 1
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2

Our home is located on beautiful Puget Sound. We live in a quaint little beachfront community called Edmonds.

It is 25 minutes from Edmonds to downtown Seattle. A short 3 minute walk allows you to catch a ferry ride across Puget Sound and maybe spot an Orca Whale. That same 3 minute walk also gets you to the bus or train station for travel throughout the region. If you like to scuba dive, there is an Underwater Dive Park 300 feet from out doorstep.

We have many wonderful restaurants, shops and a movie theater, all within walking distance.

Edmonds is also the home to Travel Guru, Rick Steve's.

The bedroom has a queen bed, full bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, dishes and silverware. It has a comfortable 'beachy' feel.

Complimentary water, tea, coffee, apple cider and other treats.

The sunsets are spectacular in the summer along with the extensive flower garden that was in the Edmonds in Bloom garden tour. Our home was also featured in the Chef's Tour of Dream Kitchens.

In the summertime, our garden is wonderful to stroll through, sit out front with a cold drink and watch the Ferries and Cruise Ships go by before watching the sun go down with beautiful sunsets. Very romantic.

Our home has as elevator for easy access of luggage. Also, for anyone that has trouble climbing stairs.

From May to September, Edmonds also has a wonderful outdoor Saturday Market with lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and many other vendors.

We are also located 30 minutes from Woodinville Wine Country, which features many wineries and quaint restaurants.

We have 3 micro-breweries in Edmonds.

We have a wonderful Edmonds Art Festival on Fathers Day weekend. Also, the Taste of Edmonds 1 weekend in August.

There is the Tulalip Casino 30 minutes north of us and an Outlet Mall next door to the Casino.

A sparkling gem 💎, with delightful hosts!

  • 5 of 5

I'm so glad I booked my stay with Al and Toni. What an amazing place! Overlooking Puget Sound, walking distance to the quaint town, (where Rick Steves still gives his free travel seminars), and if the spacious, and delightfully appointed accommodations weren't enough to wow you, wait till you see their gardens! They have won awards! In a location that boosts annual rainfall enough to make anything grow, everyone can and does have a garden, but few have an artist's eye and attention to details as Al and Toni have mastered! I pay to travel each year to the Chelsea Flower Show in London England, and joined the Royal Horticultural Society for opening day for members only, to be able to get the first glimpse of the fresh gardens. Toni and Al's gardens are on par with the Chelsea Flower Show. The sunsets over Puget Sound can be spectacular! It was a privilege to have had the chance to stay at a place where even the smallest details to enchant and make for a wonderful stay was well thought out and delivered. I've been a traveler for years, stayed in places around the world, this one goes in my books as a must repeat! Without any hesitation I'd highly recommend Al and Toni's place! I just hope they will still offer it. It's a huge amount of work that they do to keep it so lovely. And it's only the two of them that keeps it up! Be sure to show bountiful amounts of gratitude cause what you are looking at is far beyond what most people would do! That is what keeps places so lovely, aprreciation! What amount of money they charge is so little compared to what they provide. I know pricing, I travel for my living every week! This one is a true gem of a find! High season is the summer. I visited the first week of May, it was cool to brisk in the shade with most of my visit having breezy warm sunny days, and few crowds. Walking into restaurants without reservations was simple. Finding parking on the street was easy. Having dietary restrictions, vegitarian/vegan was no problem. I came here to attend an artists' workshop, taught by a distinguished commercial artist who had been employed by Disney for 32 years! I was not disappointed. Down to earth and fun, I've treasured the time spent learning my forgotten passion taught by a true master of the art. These beachy, laid back communities seem to promote the carefree and ease needed to refresh and reinvent yourself. So come tired and leave refreshed! 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😁😁❤

We stayed at there beautiful home for 3 days and 2 nights. There home is right across the street from the sound. Great long walks in the morning. You can walk to the shopping area of historic Edmonds, wonderful eateries. Everything is within walking distance. She made a beautiful fruit coffee cake, yum! They also had other snacks in the room. The bed was super comfy, I would stay there again, for sure!

Owner's Response: Karen and Presley were wonderful guests. At first I was a little worried because Karen brought her dog, but the dog was a joy to have. I never heard a bark or anything. Both were very friendly, quiet and clean. We would welcome the both back anytime.
