Wonderful week on the Cape!

  • 4 of 5

Three generations of my family enjoyed a lovely week on the Cape. The house was clean and perfectly met our needs. (Great downstairs play space for our kids.) We loved our meals on the deck We brought our canoe and were able to explore in the nearby Arey's pond/bay area. Owner was very responsive to our questions.

Perfect house for family get-together with all ages

  • 5 of 5

House is lovely, airy, roomy; layout allows for get-togethers and separateness. I vacationed with my 2 kids and 3 grandkids. The lower level was a perfect small apartment away from the rest of the living space which afforded my daughter and son-in-law with the younger children to stay in the bedroom close to the kid's room with a separate large bathroom with both tub and shower and small living space which included the entry/'mud' or 'sand' room. Of course the outdoor shower allowed for clean-up prior to entry.

Kids room is terrific; room for 3 kids with bunk beds for the little ones and a separate single for the older one. Everyone was happy.

Upstairs bedrooms are perfect for the adult couples in the group with another bathroom there. Kitchen and large dining table accommodated all 9 of us for meals. There is a lovely deck off the dining room and once we got the sail/cover in place for sun protection, it was perfect for sitting and grilling and talking while kids horsed around in the very large backyard. The house was very convenient to Nauset Beach, lovely beautiful beach, and just minutes from Shaw's Grocery, a CVS and a wine store.

There is ample room for 3 cars to park next to the house.

If you are planning a family vacation to this area and need plenty of room for various family members, you should definitely consider this house.

We really had no issues or problems, but Anna was always quick to respond with answers.

Awesome Cape Cod home...lots of room and all the amenities we could ask for!

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed staying at your vacation home in Cape Cod. My grandkids loved their bedroom downstairs and we all had plenty of room to spread out...very comfortable for us all! The town of Orleans was the best...close to the beach, shopping and the Cape Cod Firebirds baseball game was a real treat! We made several day trips to the beach, whale watching and Martha's Vineyard...such a nice variety of activities to do on the Cape. The traffic getting on and off the Cape was a bit challenging but we understand why so many people love coming here. Our weather was perfect and we would love to come back again some day! This was definitely a memorable vacation for our family...thank you so much!!!

Great location near Orleans and beaches and comfortably furnished.

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for a reunion of three brothers and spouses. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable, and the air conditioning on both floors worked well. A short drive (or run!) to Orleans. The home is tidy and comfortably accommodated 7 of us, including a child. Would definitely stay again if we're on the Cape.

We loved our stay!

  • 5 of 5

My extended family wanted a beach getaway and Anna's house was just perfect. The house was perfect for our family. Large enough for our combined families to have their own space and intimate enough for us to all be together The kids stayed downstairs while the adults had more privacy upstairs. We cooked inside, dined and used the grill on the back porch, played cards and games in the family room, and even hiked the trail from the back yard to the pond. The house was perfectly located for our daily activities. We took a short trip to Provincetown, went to the local baseball game and had ice cream down the road and spent time at the local beaches. Thanks Anna for providing the opportunity to give us lasting memories! I highly recommend this house for the perfect Cape Cod getaway!

Fine peaceful week in Orleans

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in your house for only a week. we had very good weather most of our time but we also had one day of intense rain.

My wife and I spent much of our time indoors working on books we were writing. We went to the beach only in the late afternoon. We ate out every other night. The house lends itself to work. It's pretty, quiet, has good light and a lot of places to work.

I went for a brief walk almost every morning and evening along the path that leads to the road to Areys Pond. This route is very attractive to birds giving me great pleasure.

We look forward to returning next year.
