We took an already awesome vacation home and made it better! There was already an incredible ocean view, a large corner ocean front balcony, a pool and an elevator. What we added to the inside of the unit made the inside almost as incredible as the view...not quite...but almost!
You enter into our unit and find beautiful tile flooring throughout the main living area. The beautifully decorated living and dining area opens onto a large open balcony with an incredible view of the pool, wide sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Have a seat on the balcony in our Adirondack Chairs and watch the waves roll in!
The living area has a large LCD flat panel television with DVD player. There is also a Bose Wave music system, a double sleeper sofa and a single sleeper which folds out of the ottoman.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with a Duxiana mattress and a en suite full bathroom. There are also windows that give you a great view of the ocean!
The second bedroom has direct access to the second full bathroom and also has a king size bed with a Temperpedic mattress.
The kitchen is very well equipped with al of the comforts of home. Our unit also has central AC and heat, a full-size washer and dryer, telephone, and high speed wireless internet.
Crescent Towers II offers a very large ocean front sun deck, a swimming pool, and an elevator.
We will be delighted to have you stay with us and give you the whole scoop on places to go as well as nearby amenities! There are numerous outdoor and indoor activities in the area. Take a stroll or rent a cart on Main Street in Ocean Drive to browse through various boutiques, home décor or antique shops. The Golden Griddle Pancake House is a locals favorite for breakfast and then there is Flynn's Irish Tavern for a great meal and music. Of course, these are just two of the many great eateries within a very short distance from our beach home.
There are nearly one hundred very well manicured golf courses as well as numerous mini golf or putt-putt courses in the area.
The incredible shopping of Barefoot Landing, the food and nightlife of the House of Blues, and the Alabama Theater are less than 5 minutes from the condo. Just a little further down Highway 17 is the Palace Theater, the Carolina Opry, Ripley’s Aquarium and Broadway at the Beach -- just to name a few.
Want to poke around further? No worry! Beautiful pristine old towns like Georgetown, Southport, Calabash, Wilmington and Pawley’s island are within an hour away --- great towns to stroll through and check out various quaint shops, restuarants and boutiques --- any specialty shop or antique lover’s paradise!
Charleston is within a couple of hours drive – perfect for a day long excursion for the more adventurous ones wanting to experience what more the area has to offer!
The good: Plenty of room for my family of 5. Great layout of the bedrooms being away from the main area. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed... including a French press coffee maker! This condo was also very well decorated and the second floor, corner balcony was incredible. The pool was nice too.
The bad: WiFi was terrible. While we spent most of our time on the beach, we struggled with connecting to check emails, etc.
I would recommend this place to my family and friends as it was clean, provided plenty of room and left me feeling jealous of the owners that have this wonderful vacation spot. :0)
ps. Canopies are forbidden on the beach. Umbrellas only. Safety concerns explained to us by the Lifeguard and made perfect sense.
