About Holly Noonan
I renovated this property in 2010 and live in it myself. I enjoy maintaining the gardens and taking good care of the place and my tenants. I have had amazingly good luck in finding wonderful renters. I enjoy meeting new people and helping to create a good experience for them of our beautiful town. I live here too, in the main house, with my 11 year old son.

Why Holly Noonan chose Camden
I personally love being able to walk into town, which I do regularly. I love to wander around the streets of our village and see how people decorate their houses and take care of their gardens. I love walking through the cemetery that is a block away and I cherish being able to walk to the ocean from my front door.
What makes this Cottage unique
This unit is separate from the main house and so private that I can't ever tell if the renter is there unless I check to see if their car is in their driveway. We are also only a 2 minute walk from Megunticook Market which features lovely pre-made meals, a wide array of gourmet wines, chocolates, specialty meats and interesting, unique foods.

Trip to Camden Maine
The cottage was very nicely laid out with the bedroom upstairs and the living quarters downstairs. The back deck was nice to sit out on also. Although it was not close enough to walk into town, the drive was short and there was always parking in town. Holly was very helpful with places to go visit and restaurant suggestions.
Clean, comfortable, quiet, beautiful backyard.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, beautiful backyard.
If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the perfect little house. The house is secluded and the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet. At one point, the loudest thing I heard were birds chirping and kids laughing a few houses down. The house is clean, modern, and cozy. It had everything that we needed including wifi and access to washer/dryer. (So incredibly helpful.) The house is a quick drive to downtown and can easily be walked. We especially loved breakfast at Marriners and dinner at Cappy's Chowder House. Holly is very attentive and made sure we had everything we need. The stay was absolutely perfect and I'm already dreaming of visiting again next year.
Just perfect ... exceeding expectations
The most enjoyable 3 week stay in an idyllic setting ... waking to birds singing, fresh and fragrant air here in spectacular Camden. Having a completely separate little cottage with two elevations was perfect for me. Everything is here including WIFI and laundry. The dwelling is charming, clean, open and contemporary with lots of windows and light. Fixtures are modern. All kitchen supplies included, queen bed, bedroom storage, bath with shower, towels etc. Deck extends from open living/kitchen area on to a large grassy yard surrounded by trees for privacy. Off street parking. Gourmet grocery an easy short walk. It was the most perfect stay and Holly is the best.
quiet clean and happy
My stay has been excellent. Everything in the house is new and works well. If there is ever a problem, it is attended to. It is comfortable and comes with just about everything you need. In the winter, the heat works well. Downtown Camden is within walking distance if need be.
So glad to hear it! It was lovely to have you here.
The BEST APARTMENT EXPERIENCE EVER!
This is the best place I have ever stayed. The landlord helps to facilitate everything from laundry to trash, lawn care, comfortable parking, great atmosphere, and a beautiful location. With a private back lawn, apple trees that ramble down to a river. With the perfect location - not far out of town but not right down town - it's the perfect mile walk with a quaint market just one block over for any last minute grocer needs.
The apartment it self is deceivingly large. With a great floor plan, what looks like a quaint apartment actually has enough room for two big closest, an office nook, living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. Everything is always freshly painted, updated and even though it is an older home, it has great interior furnishings that keep the place light, airy and so comfortable! I LOVE IT HERE! My son and I are so so happy when we stay!
So happy to hear it! It's really important to me that my guests and tenants have a good experience and feel tended to. This review is for the upstairs apartment in the main house, not the apartment featured on VRBO/Homeaway, but I hope the tenant experience is the same. SO much fun to design and furnish these spaces.
Camden, Maine is a 'Jewel by the Sea.' Nestled in between Mt. Battie and a harbor that is full of schooners and windjammers in the summer, Camden is one of the most picturesque villages on the East Coast of the United States. The Library, surrounded by a park and amphitheater that was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (who designed NYC's Central Park) is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The village is focused around a beautiful harbor that also contains a state-park island with a lighthouse. The village is renowned for its excellent restaurants, high-end shopping and outdoor recreation. There are public swimming locations at lakes, the river and on the ocean. Camden is a destination for holistic health and wellness.
A wide array of healing modalities are offered. Camden is also the site of an amazing array of festivals and conferences, including the Camden Conference, PopTech, the Camden International Film Festival and the Juice Conference.
