Only 5 miles from downtown Farmington, a service center of shopping and medical care. A 7 screen cinema, quaint shops and restaurants are in and around the area. Golf at award winning courses and others nearby. Walking and bike trails are also in and around Farmington. Fresh seafood and farmer's markets are available. Many cultural events-concerts, shows, auctions and public suppers give a look at the local culture. UMaine Farmington is located in downtown Farmington and also offers a variety of events.
There are lots of nearby trails for walking, hiking and biking, including the Appalachian Trail only 45 mins. away.

About the owner: We have lived and worked in Farmington for many years and were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to purchase a house on Clearwater. The camps are coveted, as one only comes up for sale every few years. We own a property management business. We own 50 units and manage another 40 for others. I am a nurse educator at the local hospital and teach part time for the University of New England. We have 2 kids-our son has joined the business and daughter is in private wealth management in Boston. We enjoy the area for biking, trails, skiing-alpine and nordic and the friendly community. We feel lucky to not have to travel far for all the things we like to do. We do a lot of community volunteer work and had the Town of Farmington 2009 Town Report dedicated to us.
Why the Owner Chose Industry, Maine, United States of America:
We were so fortuate to purchase a 'camp' on this lake. There are many camps that are in 'trust' and in their 3rd-4th generation of ownership, making one for sale a high commodity. We saw this home in a 3 ft. snowstorm and signed within minutes. We also love being only 5 miles away, as it allows us to work and feel like we are on vacation. Sitting by the water is a sure way to lower your blood pressure and to de-stress! Boaters wave as they go by, creating a community all its own. 2 miles away and a 20 min. walk will take you to Bannock Mtn. on the other side of the lake that has breathtaking 360 degree views.
