The home which offers 3 large bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms features beautiful Turkish marble floors throughout. The home's kitchen is a dream to cook in or entertain from. It features high quality cherry wood cabinetry, a one of a kind imported granite counter top, and a full range of stainless steel top of the line Kitchen Aid appliances which include a professional level duel fuel range and ventilation system, a built in 42 inch refrigeration unit, a second built in wall oven and microwave, a warming drawer, and a built in wine refrigerator. In the second living area, one can simply just relax and enjoy the view of the pool area or watch the fish jump in the water beyond. This area features two designer chosen Ethan Allen Colin chairs and a colorful hand loomed carpet. In addition, for your listening pleasure, this area also features a NAD stereo system with upscale Rogers speakers. To light these two living areas, the home owners have chosen original 1930's chandeliers and art deco lighting. Each of the home's bedrooms feature luxury linens on either King , two Queens and one Full sized bed. Each bedroom has a different style, and of course different era antiques. The third bedroom which features two queen size beds also has a 42 inch HDTV . The master bedroom's ensuite features a free standing whirlpool tub with independent heater and a very large walk in shower experience. The second bathroom also features a large walk in shower. Both of these bathrooms feature solid Mahogany vanities and upscale faucets. Last but not least, the home is located on a scenic 200 ft. wide canal which is only a short distance by water from the Gulf of Mexico. There is nothing better than sitting in the lanai or splashing around in the pool surrounded by palm trees and a wonderful view of the water. If you wish to get a better view of the water, there is a second sitting area canal side. This area features wicker recliners and a large sun umbrella to keep you cool. This home will certainly make your Florida stay a special experience which will soon not be forgotten.

About Gary Lewicki

Del and I are avid travellers who love to spend time aboard and enjoy the little luxuries of life.

Gary Lewicki purchased this house in 2011

Why Gary Lewicki chose Pelican

We purchased this property in 2011 as we wanted a home in the eternal sunshine of Florida. The property was a bit of a wreck and as a result, this gave us the opportunity to 'put our stamp' on the home. We love stone and as one can see, we have featured it throughout the home. We have tried to make it a comfortable home away from home with the little luxuries of life thrown in.

What makes this house unique

This home is not your typical Florida vacation home. Initially everything in the home is of a very high standard, from Turkish marble floors, to hand woven rugs, to the luxury professional level appliances and yes, even the faucets. However, the home is more than that, as it expresses an certain individuality which is conveyed to our guests through its many art deco antiques and lively original paintings. This home has a personality which hopefully will stimulate our guests as well as entertain and luxuriate them.

We think our home is very special. It not only offers very high end amenities, it also offers a unique character that is not present in most rental accommodations. We have tried to offer our guests a taste of luxury, artistic expression combined with a sense of the past which is expressed though our choice of antique furnishing and lighting. Please come and enjoy our home and make it yours.

Rental IS Quiet Restful Home`

  • 4 of 5

We just got back from our week in this home and enjoyed our time there. The home was slightly smaller than expected but that didn't bother our stay. The pool area was nice and shady under the cover and fan but nice and sunny in the pool and on the dock. The pool water was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the big TV in the living room. Having rented in the area for years one of the problems with many homes is the cooling system does not cool enough during the day. This home has a wonderful cooling system and we didn't even need to touch the thermostat. Have a wonderful time!

All the comforts of home, with the luxury of a fine hotel

  • 5 of 5

I've been going to Cape Coral for the past two years for a getaway with my grandkids (2 teens and a 10 y/o and my son (their dad).

This beautifully appointed home was the perfect and luxurious getaway we all needed. Expertly equipped kitchen with everything you need, including a Keurig. Big screen tv with surround sound was a hit with all the grandkids and then some. Gorgeously comfortable and dreamy beds, with high quality bedding, sumptous towels, and bathroom showers to die for! Master bath shower stall had no less than 3 shower heads!

And no need to bring beach supplies: beach umbrellas, chairs, inflatables of all kinds and bicycles for the entire family are all available in the garage.

Pool and lanai were beautiful, providing a peaceful view at night of the canal and twinkling lights from other patios.

Overall, my family and I had the most wonderful and comfortable stay and Mr. Lewicki, the owner, was always most gracious and attentive to all our needs. Only regret we were seldom home and didn't get to enjoy jacuzzi tub or bike rides along the nice neighborhood.

I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying at it again.

Phenomenal Hospitality and Home

  • 5 of 5

We were so impressed and absolutely loved the house and can't wait to book it for next year. We meant the nice neighbor across the street our dogs became friends. Thank you so much for your hospitality we are truly going to miss just about everything especially waking up to the gorgeous sunrises, coffee on the lanai, the sound of fish jumping out of the water in the canal and the beaches. Our stay was very memorable.

Great place for thanksgiving with my family.

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place to go that was dog friendly for Thanksgiving Dinner with my parents who live nearby. This house was absolutely perfect. It was well equipped, in a quiet neighborhood, and a very short walk to Publix. This was very convenient for buying food for dinner.

There's an area of Cape Coral just a long walk or a very short drive away that has restaurants and clubs. All very convenient.

We utilized our boat to go through the canals to fish the bays nearby. Don't underestimate fishing in the canals however. A few times I trolled on my way out and had lines snapped because I was utilizing lightweight gear in the canals. Once you do get out into the bay, keep in mind it is very shallow outside of the main channels. If you have a shallow draft boat however you can navigate around the shore for Snook. It's about a 30 minute ride out of the canals through the lock and then about another 20 minutes to the open ocean. There is a bait shop in town but you can also pull up to the marina after going through the locks and they have bait and tackle there.

The house is very nice with a screened in pool and a nice open concept. There's tile everywhere so no worry about the kids spilling some juice. The beds were also very comfortable with luxury bedding in every room.

The neighborhood itself is great for a nice walk and about a mile up the road there's a small public park. Along the way you'll see pegs marking squares in the ground. We didn't realize it at first but these actually house adorable little owls. Don't get too close but as you walk by, don't be surprised to see a 6 inch tall owl staring inquisitively at you.

It was great to have a gas stove to work on and we had no issues with finding what we needed regarding pots, pans, dishes and utensils.

I definitely recommend this home for anyone who is looking to bring a boat and for people who don't mind not staying right on the beach.

Beautiful Comfort and Convenience!

  • 5 of 5

We are two couples who meet annually in Florida to escape colder weather (N.C., Utah) and renew old friendships. This spotless rental, with a spacious, well equipped kitchen, gas grill and stove, and indoor and outdoor round tables (convivial!) with upholstered, comfortable seating everywhere is perfect for card games, visiting, dining, and watching movies. The layout, a great room flanked by bedrooms with nice bathrooms assures privacy. The swimming pool is well maintained and a pleasant temperature. The location is perfect for exploring the area by car, or walking to the grocery store or Lobster Lady for dinner (Gary's excellent suggestion!) There is just too much to say about this very well planned and executed home away from home.

We chose this rental partly based upon other renter's reviews of Gary, the owner. It is all true- he is unfailingly accessible, concerned, and helpful. We used Gary's list of not-to-be missed restaurants and attractions, and found some of our own...the Farmer's Market, Audubon Corkscrew Swamp and miniature golfing (who knew it'd be so fun?).
