|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Perched above Honokeana Cove, the home for a tropical paradise of green sea turtles and a multitude of brightly colored tropical fish swimming throughout the coral, is A-26, a condominium within Napili Point Resort. The spectacular views from our private lanai across the channel to Molokai offer stunning sunsets, tropical rainbows, both calm Pacific waters and dramatic surf. Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails watching the cavorting humpback whales during the winter months or possibly a pod of Spinner dolphins twirling across the waters. Stay cool in one of the few air conditioned condos in the complex.
Your stay in our 'home away from home' will be enhanced by the amenities we have provided for you in our recently upgraded condo. Enjoy the awe inspiring sunsets while you are shaded with our recently installed sunscreen across the lanai which keeps the unit cool while still availing for you the gorgeous view. Colorful Polynesian decor is evident throughout.
Relax and enjoy your vacation with the luxury of our daily housekeeping provided as well as on-site maintenance.
We have equipped our kitchen with everything necessary for those loving to cook, no need to purchase most spices and many basic ingredients.
Our living room furnishings are arranged to take full advantage of the spectacular views outside, whether rain or shine as well as huge surf. Or watch our HDTV/DVD from the comfort of our recliner. The queen-sized sleeper sofa will accommodate two additional persons.
Enjoy slumbering in our new California king bed in quiet, air conditioned comfort…no one is making noise above you!
No need to worry about a laundromat, as there is a free washer and dryer for your use alone. An in-room safe is available for your valuables.
Our condo is conveniently located steps away from one of the two resort swimming pools, as well as close to two deluxe Weber barbecues and cove-side picnic tables.
If eating in is not your 'thing', there are three restaurants within walking distance of the resort, the Gazebo, the Iron Imu BBQ or the Sea House. Or get in your car and drive to Merriman's, Pineapple Grill, Plantation House or Sansei. Lahaina Town and Whaler's Village offer many more restaurants for every taste.
The highlight of your trip will be snorkeling with the 'honu', the green sea turtles, and countless tropical fish in Honokeana Cove. Or stroll over to Napili Bay to frolic in the gentle surf. Play tennis or golf at the Kapalua Resort, a world class PGA course. Historic Lahaina Town offers shopping, ocean front dining, art galleries and museums. Drive to the summit of Haleakala, the twisting, narrow road to Hana or upcountry to visit the Ocean Vodka Distillery, Surfing Goat Dairy and Alii Lavender Farm, then on to Ulapalakua and the Tedeschi winery.
As beach lovers we have travelled the Pacific Coast by boat, auto, train and plane, always happiest in sight of the ocean. Our first trip to Napili Point Resort was a gift for our 40th anniversary after which we enjoyed visiting here for several years before purchasing A-26.
owner/property manager purchased this condo in 2007
This property is located in the best place in the Hawaiian Islands for climate, lack of crowds, yet close to everything we need.
We enjoy the scene from our lanai where we dine every meal. As we are located away from the main path of the resort, we enjoy privacy and quiet.
We had a wonderful time in this condo! It has a spectacular view of the ocean. No other buildings obstruct the view - you can just stare at the ocean waves, and treed shoreline from the kitchen, living room and lanai.
The condo was well kept with comfortable furniture and newer appliances. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches like the motorized sun shade, air conditioning, well stocked kitchen and beach supplies.
It was great to walk out to lovely green space with humpback whales you can spot jumping and tons of sea turtles swimming out on the bay. We snorkelled with the turtles and enjoyed watching them surface every day. There is also a sweet paved walkway along the ocean that leads to to neighbouring resort, Napili Shores, and Napili Beach. But it is also fun to wonder along with no destination at all - it is so beautiful and a wonderful way to savour the landscape.
The sunsets were incredible - such a treat to see them in full display from the condo each evening.
While this condo would be a hit with anyone, we found it especially suitable for us since we have a toddler and baby. We chose this unit after almost booking at Napili Shores and were so grateful we made this decision. While it was fun to take advantage of the businesses next door (Gazebo restaurant, banana bread stand and surf shop), we didn't have to deal with crowds of people walking through and lining up on the resort. Plus our pools were properly gated and secured, which made it a lot easier to watch our toddler run around the grass while we bbq'd or relaxed together on the lanai.
The bedroom was big enough to set up both a small crib and toddler bed (on the floor) allowing us to tuck them in, then watch the sunset from the living room, or stars from the lanai.
We had an absolutely amazing time and so did our kids. Napili Beach is so great to have a short walk away since there are fun crashing waves on one end, plus nice snorkelling and gentle surf on the other side.
This unit was a great find - one of the best located in the complex if you like beautiful views and a quiet, secluded location.
The daily maid service was really handy with garbage removed everyday (it gets stinky fast with the heat) and fresh bath towels and tea towels.
Hope to bring our family back here again sooner rather than later! We feel so fortunate to have discovered it!
Napili Point offers a premier swimming, snorkeling and surfing location for active vacationers as well as vicarious fun for those preferring to just watch the action. World class golf courses are just minutes away. During the winter months whale watching is unsurpassed as the humpback whales arrive from Alaska to birth, breed and frolic with their young just yards off our waterfront. Year round, the spinner dolphins cavort off our shore. Local restaurants, some within walking distance, provide delicious cuisine for all tastes, and nightly entertainment from Hawaiian music, hula, and theater, is close by. Whaler's Village and Lahaina Town provide a variety of shopping opportunities. Walking the coastal trail or hiking above Kapalua offers scenic exercise for all levels of fitness.
