In the Heart of the Historical Downtown Steamboat located by the Yampa River, E3 Chop House across the street with Carl's Tavern and Scratch, restaurants within the building.

Park your car and ride your bike or walk to restaurants, shops, movies, nightlife, and countless events & attractions. When you stay at Howelsen Place, you have easy access to almost everything, and the free city bus can take you to the mountain along with other areas of interest throughout the year.

Our 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Penthouse Condo is newly redecorated with rustic contemporary designs decorated with luxurious interiors including natural stone tile, new rustic wood floors, and stainless steel accents. The main living area has a flat screen TV, Blue Ray player, WIFI, gas-burning fireplace, accented with gorgeous rugs and beautiful furnishings. The fabulous cow hide couch, round juniper dining table along with a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances will give you a cozy mountain feeling.

Both bedrooms have luxurious king size beds outfitted with deluxe bedding making it ideal for two couples. Each is equipped with a large flat screen TV, walk-in closet and both have large windows and walkout doors to the deck while offering incredible views. The master bath offers a bathtub, tile shower, and dual sinks. The second bathroom has a walk in tile shower and a washer/dryer is located in the hallway closet.

For your outdoor entertainment we have two huge private decks, one on each side of the condo, a gas grill and deluxe outdoor furniture. This will provide breath taking views of Howelsen Hill, Mt Werner, Yampa River, Sleeping Giant and Downtown.

Guests of the unit receive access to the exclusive Gondola Ski Club ski lockers at Gondola Square for convenient storage of ski equipment. Old Town Hot Springs is down the street to enjoy the natural hot spring pools, swimming areas, water slide and fitness center.

Our local property managers, Jason and Melissa will shuttle you too and from the airport or anywhere else you would like for a fee. You can arrange with them to have groceries, and other items put in the unit, extra cleaning services, reservations etc.

The property was absolutely amazing and comfortable.

Great location, convenient to ski slopes and wonderful restaurants. Carl's Tavern located on the first floor of Howelsen bldg was our go to place to eat when we were tired or wanted something quick. Excellent food and atmosphere. Melissa the property manager will do anything to make your stay comfortable. She helped us with shipping and deliveries, bought groceries and recommended restaurants. She made a great property even better. Already looking to book next year. Thank you for making our Christmas special!

Great Condo in a Great Location

This was our first stay in Steamboat and we weren't sure whether to stay downtown or closer to the ski area. We went with this condo downtown and couldn't be more pleased. Almost all the best restaurants are within easy walking distance. In fact, you can stand on one of the balconies and throw a rock and hit about four of them. The reserved underground parking was a huge plus. As to the condo itself, it was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The main living space was about 33x25 and the master was about 16x13. I felt like both are bigger than they look in the pictures. Both bedrooms have walk in closets.

The owner and managers were very responsive to our questions and needs. The condo had pretty much everything we needed. In fact, some of their kitchenware was nicer than what we have at home. They left us coupons and pamphlets for various attractions and a very helpful book on the various hiking opportunities in the area. Great experience. We would recommend and would use this condo again on a return trip.

Fabulous Condo in a Great Location!!

This is a wonderful condo conveniently located to downtown shopping and several outstanding restaurants. We experienced several great meals within easy walking distance, but very much enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, and dining outside on the decks while taking in the great views. Relaxing morning walks along the Yampa river, but of course there are many great hikes around Steamboat within easy driving distances as well.

The property owners, as well as the property managers, were a pleasure to deal with, and readily available - we will not hesitate to stay here again!!

Really nice condo

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The interior and furnishings were all new and high end. We didn't cook in the condo, but the kitchen was well equipped. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shops. The owners and management team were very responsive and informative. I will definitely try to book this condo again the next time I have a stay in Steamboat.

Lovely Condo, Perfect Town Location

This condo is really gorgeous, with luxury bedrooms and chic living area. The kitchen is outfitted completely... we did a lot of cooking and always had all the tools and plates/bowls/pans we needed. The location in town is excellent, with delicious restaurants and bars within three blocks. (BTW, we found our favorite restaurant is literally across the street, the E3 Chophouse--make reservations before arriving in town.) Covered parking is great to have. We only had three stay in the condo, but one night we had a dinner with eight, and the condo/kitchen/living area handled it well. There were also nice electric candles, placemats and decorations to make it really festive. This is a great luxury condo choice.
