Pictures are deceiving
The pictures of the property make it seem a lot bigger than it is. Although that wouldn’t have bothered us so much, there were a lot of things wrong with the villa. Door knob to get into the house from garage does not work, it just keeps spinning. Fridge was broken when we got there and we had just bought groceries for our stay. Took the fridge about a whole day to start working again. A/C upstairs broke one of the nights, it fixed itself overnight though. Outlets in the master bedroom upstairs did not work at all so no lamps, tv, charging your phone next to you, etc. They give you enough towels for one per person for a whole week, one kitchen towel, one wash cloth, and if you want more? Well don’t bother because it’s another $35 to get more towels! And the noise! There was SUCH an annoying noise coming from the upstairs utility closet that you could hear throughout the entire house. It drove us all crazy the entire stay.
We apologize that your stay with us was less than perfect. We strive to give our rental guest the best experience Hilton Head can offer. Our homes are equipped with all the amenities of home including a washer and dryer, that is the reason behind the lesser amount of towels. We do provide 2 of each towel per guest. It sounds like your fridge experienced “fridge syndrome” this is when you fill an empty fridge with warm groceries, it take up to 24 hours to cool back down to a regular temperature. The few other maintenance items have been addressed and we would have sent maintenance immediately if you had reported any of these items during your stay with us, just like home maintenance items can pop up at anytime, we are staffed 7 days a week to address these items. We apologize for these inconveniences and hope you had a wonderful time on the island.
