Hoboken is located across New York City on the left bank of the Hudson. Commuting to NYC is very easy - the bus to Port Authority (near Times Square) stops around the corner and takes 15 minutes to the city. Walk a few blocks north and you can take the ferry to Midtown or the Financial District, and walk a few blocks south and you can take the PATH train which runs 24/7 up 6th Avenue in Manhattan. But Hoboken itself has a lot to offer. Bwé Coffee is around the corner, four of the best restaurants (Anthony Davids, Elysian Cafe, Bin 14 and Amanda's) in town are literally on the same block as the apartment. From restaurants to sports bars and Irish pubs, Starbucks, Schnackenberg's Luncheonette to Carlos' Bake Shop ( the Cake Boss), we have it all, including a beautiful view of Manhattan.
Great transportation options are just steps away: Bus 126 to midtown Manhattan leaves around the corner (travel time 10 minutes to Times Square), ferry to World Financial Center and Midtown West is 10 minutes away, 24/7 PATH train to Manhattan a few blocks south of the apartment.
Other Things to Note
The brownstone apartment is three blocks from Stevens Institute of Technology, and just steps away from great restaurants, shopping, and transportation. It is on a quiet tree-lined street in a quintessential brownstone neighborhood, has a separate entrance and complete privacy.

Why Nersel zur Muehlen chose Hoboken
Beautiful brownstone house built in 1890, original details, fire places, tin work, and great set up. Lovely backyard. Hoboken is a lovely town with everything you need within walking distance and its proximity to New York City is a huge benefit.
What makes this Apartment unique
Hoboken brownstones provide quality, sturdy craftsmanship and comfortable living with beautiful, and functional kitchens, large bedrooms and the all-important closet space people need today. This provides a combination of both the classic in design and contemporary in technology, providing a great mix for the lifestyle of today’s busy family. Great convenience to have washer/dryer in the house and dishwasher. Our house is walking distance to everything my family needs. Quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood.

Another wonderful stay!!!
We have rented this apartment several times. It is always clean, comfy and inviting!! We will definitely book with Nerzel next time we visit Hoboken.
Thank you, we look forward to hosting you again and those ketchup chips were delicious :-)
Nice Christmas Visit to Hoboken
This is a nice, small (but cozy) garden level apartment centrally located in Hoboken. Kitchen is very well equipped (though the microwave was broken during our visit) - a real plus as most rentals have minimal amenities and dishes/glassware. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but efficient with a great shower. Good lighting throughout. Not much of a "living area" - just an IKEA couch that faces closet doors that hid a furnace, hot water heater, and a combo washer/dryer. Having the washer/dryer was a nice feature! Door in the bedroom that opens to back garden was a bit drafty - and with below 20 degree nights throughout our stay it would be good to add some weather stripping there. Overall, we had a great stay and will like to return on our next visit.
Great location, easily accessible to NYC bus, train or ferry and to historic areas nearby like Jersey City, via light rail. Great restaurants and local history. Especially loved the neighborhood vibe and walking opportunities. Could not have been a better location. And the apartment is well outfitted for cooking if you want. Jersey is very accommodating and responsive.
I booked this apartment for my parents to stay in during their visit to Hoboken. They were here visiting from Asia for a month and were looking for something convenient and not too pricey given that they would be over at our place (a 10 minute walk away) during the day. This apartment was perfect for them! It is only a block away from restaurants, bars and supermarkets and so extremely convenient for visitors. However, despite this convenience, the street that the apartment is located on is peaceful and quiet. The owner is fantastic, I met her before renting the apartment and knew that my parents would be in good hands if they had any questions or needed anything. Finally, this place is a steal! There is a dearth of short-term, furnished rentals in Hoboken and the only other ones I could find were in luxury buildings which came at a high price tag of at least $4,200 per month. The fact that I got this place for substantially less was a huge win in my books. When my parents come to visit next, I will certainly look to book this apartment again.
Second time staying here!!
We love staying in this cozy little apartment. The tree lined streets and brownstones are beautiful. The location is close to Washington Street where you will find coffee shops, restaurants, salons, lots of shops. Manhattan is a short bus ride away or take the ferry if you like. Nersel is very accommodating and always responded quickly to any questions that we had!!
The property was in a great location and was very suited to our needs
Property had everything we needed to settle in for a few weeks. It was comfortable and the location was terrific for our needs. We would recommend use for a couple or single with short term needs. Good restaurants and services in the area as well.
