We are a family of 4, Mom, Dad and 2 girls. They love their home away from home. We are actually from RI and we wanted a cottage that we would use easily and frequently. I grew up in East Greenwich, and went to school in Ohio and France. My husband grew up in Nebraska.

Because we rented often before we bought our property, we are aware of the typical rental, where everything is worn, average, and with a slightly mildewy scent..and we did not like that!
This is more like a condo/townhouse that you would find in a high-end resort but with a casual, easy-going, close to beach feel. There are other cottages nearby, but everybody adores the sun, sand and sky. It is not a party place. Gets quiet about 11 pm and we wake up with the sun, sky and seagulls.
The water view is intoxicating. What you also see from your deck is the oyster beds that supply the restaurant with fresh(!) oysters. Because the pond is shallow, you will see people looking as if they are walking on water-- But it is just casual searching, and enjoying the sandy bottom pond, looking for clams. We have worked hard on the upkeep and cleaning. It was completely renovated 2013/14.
