We have taken great pride in renovating, decorating, and stocking our 2 bedroom (Den), 2 bath condo at the Maui Kamaole. The Floorplan offers a roomy 1039 sq.ft. of interior living space with an additional 375 outside on the Lanai and Private Enclosed Courtyard - for a TOTAL OF 1414 SQ.FT. We have just completed a very extensive renovation of the condo. The interior is brand new - tile, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, and many new furnishings. We are very proud of our A+ Rating and continually work at maintaining it. The Maui Kamaole is a beautiful property with very lush grounds, and we have continued this feel inside with the bright tropical decor. F104 is located in the newest building, close to the onsite Tennis Courts and Tropical Swimming Pool & Spa.

The Master Bedroom has a New King Bed & Bedding, Huge Ensuite, Large Closet, TV, DVD, Split A/C, Ceiling Fan and an Enclosed Private Courtyard - the perfect place for a morning coffee!

We have enlarged the 2nd Bedroom (Den) and added a closet for convenience. In this room, we have the option of 1 KING BED or 2 TWIN BEDS. There is another ceiling fan and split A/C unit for this bedroom.

Both bedroom A/C units are split units - the motor unit is outside, making the bedrooms very quiet.

The living room has new Queen Sofa Sleeper, so our condo comfortably accommodates 4 Adults and 2 Children.

Our condo is one of the rare 2 Bedroom/2 bath condos - all on the ground floor. Our renovations have made our condo ADA friendly. This floorplan is great for Seniors and Families, but has everything required for a business trip (Free Wi-Fi and Long Distance), as well it is a fantastic location for a honeymoon.

We enjoy the convenience of condo living, and keep the kitchen very well supplied for cooking, BBQing, entertaining, or just a relaxing drink. We are always updating or adding new towels bedding, and kitchen supplies as needed. Our condo has beach chairs & mats, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards, tennis racquets, sand toys, board games, and a small library with a variety of books - all for your enjoyment.

Maui Kamaole is in the heart of all Maui has to offer. Great location for all Water Activities, World Class Golf, Tennis, Shopping and Fine Dining are all close by. Kihei and Wailea are known as the Sunny South Shore and have fantastic weather.

About Gord & Iris Spencer

We have been enjoying the many diverse offerings of the Hawaiian Islands for over 30 years. After exploring other areas, we finally settled on the South Kihei area of Maui and our home in the Maui Kamaole. While on vacation with our family we found our condo and immediately fell in love with it. We picked South Kihei for the weather and the beaches, and the Maui Kamaole for its convenient location, beautiful setting and charm. We are perfectly situated between Keewakapu Beach and the Kamaole III beach park. Whether you’re swimming, snorkeling, diving or just relaxing on the miles of sandy beaches, all the ocean activities you are looking for are a short three minute walk from the condo.

Why “toes in the sand”?

With everything Kihei and the Maui Kamaole have to offer, our favourite time is when we first arrive. We go directly to the beach, take our sandals off and take a long walk on the beach. There’s just something about “toes in the sand” that says you have arrived!

The Maui Kamaole complex is 23 acres of lush tropical paradise located in desirable Kihei/Wailea. Within a short walking distance of Kamaole III Beach Park and the mile long Keewakapu Beach, the Maui Kamaole is close to world class Wailea golf courses, tourist attractions and shopping.

F104 is located in the newest building in the complex (completed in 2001) and is located near the 'tropical grove' pool and hot tub. The pool is in the shape of Maui and surrounded by lash tropical plants and trees.

The Kihei/Wailea area has the lowest amount of rainfall and highest amount of sunshine in all of Maui. The perfect location for the snowbird's long winter holiday, or the long anticipated family vacation. And it is a destination of choice for your romantic wedding.

  • Our bathrooms have been completely renovated. The extremely large - master ensuite has a 4'x5' shower with a rain shower head, and hand held shower. As well as a separate tub for anyone that enjoys soaking. The new open vanity has double sinks set into a beautiful granite counter top. Our 2nd bathroom has a 6' x 3' shower, and again there is a hand held shower as well as a rain shower head. It just makes life simple with no stairs, convenient parking, and access from the lanai for children to play. Also this is truly a private second bedroom, not a loft that is open to the main living area, so there is far more privacy and it is very quiet.

  • Our master bedroom has 1 King size bed, large closets, TV, split AC. We have reconfigured this bedroom and ensuite to make it very luxurious. Our 2nd Bedroom (Den) is truly a private bedroom. It is not a loft that is open to the living area below. It has it's own a/c unit and ceiling fan, and easy access to the bathroom across the hall. You are given the option of having 1 KING BED or 2 TWIN BEDS. We have a bridge kit that joins the twin beds to make a very comfortable king bed. These beds are very good quality and very comfortable. We also have just purchased a New Queen Sofa Bed for our living room, so that we can comfortably sleep 6 persons.

Our condo is in a fantastic location for everything that you could want - from water & land sports - to World Class Spas & Dining! There is something for everyone. Our condo is located in a very quiet location, and you can enjoy peace and quiet from our lanai if you want, or spend the day touring the many sights and locations.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful surroundings.

This was our second visit to Toes in the Sand condo and our fourth to the Maui Kamaole complex. This condo offers everything a discriminating visitor would want. First, and foremost, it’s clean. And updated. And fully stocked with amenities needed for in home meal prep. The king size beds are very comfy and each bedroom, along with the kitchen/living room area offer individual air conditioning in addition to the ceiling fans. The two baths are spacious and have walk in showers with the master bath offering a tub as well. A washer/dryer, dryer rack, beach chairs and towels, snorkeling equipment and tennis rackets are all included. The property itself is beautifully maintained and very quiet. You won’t regret renting this property.

Great Condo in Paradise

First off, I'm reluctantly writing this review because we'd rather keep this place secret and to ourselves. Kehei is located in a great spot on Maui and the Maui Kamaole is right at the south end of it....the beach is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the condo unit and what a beach it is. You can see lots of fish when you snorkel from the beach, the kids can safely wave-board on waves that dont get anywhere near as big and dangerous as they can elsewhere on Maui, and I saw lots of turtles over my week at that beach- including five on our last morning there while standing in knee deep water! There are lots of restuarants and shops that are within walking distance or a very short drive away. The condo itself was very clean and well stocked with towels and dishes and tennis gear, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was new and modern and not dated at all like you may see at other condos in Maui....the bathrooms were really those showers! The back patio was nice for sitting out and enjoying the fresh air, and it was really quite private. We had a small issue with the suite when a small bit of water leaked from the a/c unit in the condo above us but the property managers were there in 10 minutes to deal with it and it was solved right away. The only downside that I can think of was that the pool seemed to have a bit of a no fun policy, so kids at the age who like to jump in the water and splash and play catch with a ball may not be a good fit here; also, we rigged up the sofa bed to be comfortable for our 17 year old daughter but I would not recommend it for two adults- or two of anyone over the age of 10 to be honest. I would certainly and strongly recommend this place for its location, its cleanliness, its set-up, and the great service from the owners and property managers. It felt like home and we honestly did not want to leave!!

Perfect spot and setup

The apartment/condo was very clean and spacious. Close to all amenities. It was great that it had everything that was needed...beach chairs, umbrellas, towels etc. We had one question and the response time was instant. Mahalo - we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Excellent condo close to beautiful beaches

Our family of 5 adults could not have asked for anything more comfortable. The Kitchen was stocked with everything required. Beach gear there was snorkels, masks, boogie board towels. The condo was clean, beds were so comfortable. HDMI cord and the list goes on. It is a 10 min walk to the beach but a very pleasant walk. Check in was easy. Pool in the complex was beautiful and a good size. I would really recommend this condo. It felt like home.
