We have lived in the area for approximately 11 years and enjoy the beauty of the beaches, marsh lands, trees and above all, warm weather. It is very exciting to visit the museums, and attend the Mardi Gras festivities and travel to other neighboring cities.

It is the sister city to New Orleans and much of the architecture in downtown Mobile is very similar to that in New Orleans French Quarters. All of the events held in downtown Mobile are family oriented. Great resturarants and local sports bars are within walking distance.

The condo was transformed from a car dealership to 26 individual beautiful units. It is the true sense of repurposing. The old bricks remain. The garage was the show room. The roof was where cars were parked while waiting for repairs.

Stayed here during the week while traveling for work. The unit is clean and well maintained. Secure well lit parking on site. The building was quite. Located in walking distance to the great downtown area. Lots of revitalization and exciting events. The property owner was easy to reach, personable and responsive to me. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Mobile.

Bertha the owner was always attentive in ensuring my stay was up to standards. Condo was in close proximity to everything needed for entertainment and going to my work project while in Mobile. The condo was well maintained and had every amenities one would need. Would rent again and would highly recommend this condo to anyone needing a great place to stay. Also having a designated parking space inside in a large garage was the cherry on this wonderful pie.
Perfect Home Away From Home!!!
We always stay somewhere downtown during the last few days of Mardi Gras and we absolutely LOVED staying at the St. Louis Lofts this year. It's in a good location which is far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to be a short walk or Uber from everything we want to do downtown. There is a wonderful kitchen stocked with anything you'd need to prepare a meal or snack. The pictures really don't to it justice as to just how much room there is available in that loft. We were totally comfortable. It was also great having a parking spot in the parking garage available. The codes on the doors made it convenient and made us feel extra safe! We'd love to stay again in the future! Highly recommend to anyone!

Clean Convenient Safe Close to Downtown !!
This studio condo is perfect for one person !! If you are used to sharing a queen bed w/someone then great for two !! Yes the sofa bed opens up & two more could sleep there but I think for 4 would be a bit crowded. Lovely decore inside !! Ignore outside of Bldg - not paying for that. Just one parking space per unit - so garage is tight - especially if you have a big vehicle. Probably when the parking spaces were divided up - it was not considered that most people have LARGER vehicles today - but if space was made for larger cars - there wouldn't be enough spaces for each unit !! But having the garage is fantastic. I love this place for just me & for the convenience for me while I'm in Mobile. I've now stayed 3 yrs in a row & have booked again for next yr !!!
Clean, comfortable, classy and convenient!
We LOVED our stay at this St Louis Loft Condo! It far exceeded our expectations. As it is a converted warehouse type building (a former car dealership), it certainly looks "industrial" when you drive up. And it is close to the edge of the part of downtown that is being revitalized, so when we first arrived, we were a bit apprehensive. But when we stepped inside, we just thought WOW!! It was perfect for me and my husband to visit downtown Mobile.
The condo is very spacious and open. The bedroom "area" has a nice partition to separate it from the living area. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens There is a huge walk-in closet and a nice sized bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen area is open to the living area and has granite counter tops and nice appliances. There is nice storage in the kitchen area. The kitchen is furnished with a decent amount of dishes, pots and pans etc. The living area has comfortable furniture (couch and chair) and a nice flat screen TV. There is a very nice work station with printer. And the wifi was excellent! (I have rented many places that wifi was "iffy" or non-existent even when promised!)
The parking is great; the condo has a dedicated parking space inside the garage that is very close to this ground-floor apartment which made unloading and loading very easy. The common areas inside the building are also very nice and well-maintained.
The condo is within easy walking distance of all the restaurants and bars on Dauphin Street. We LOVED our stay and hope to return soon!!
Must see the historic buildings and churches located in beautiful historic district of Mobile, AL. Also, visit great resturarants, museums and battle ship. I-10 is very close by which leads directly to beaches in both Alabama and Florida. Additionally, I-10 leads to gambling casinos in Biloxi, MS.
