About Pam Westervelt
We both have a longstanding love for Florida and currently reside in Ormond Beach. Andy is a DeLand native with fond memories of New Smyrna Beach that date back to childhood. Pam, a Louisiana native and former resident of the west coast of Florida, was skeptical about the Atlantic side until Andy introduced her to New Smyrna Beach. It was love at first sight. Our hope is to always maintain a connection here.

Why Pam Westervelt chose New Smyrna Beach
We enjoy riding our bicycles along our favorite stretch of beach between Flagler Avenue and the jetty at Ponce Inlet. Every time we would pass by the graceful and stately Golden Arms, we would admire the impeccable grounds and dream of how cool it would be to experience life there. Our dream came true and we literally found the “End of the Rainbow” off our balcony! We are excited for our guests to make new memories in this special place.
What makes this Condo unique
How many places do you know of that you can enjoy without a car! We love to check the tide clock and go with the flow. Some of our regular stops in town include the Wake Up Cafe, Third Wave or upstairs at Flagler Tavern for breakfast, Breaker’s for burgers, Norwood’s, Third Wave and Outriggers for wonderful cocktails, wine and dinners, Manny’s Pizza for takeout (the BEST Greek Salads!) and Heavenly or Treats on the Beach for ice cream. The Riverview Grill for sunset and music combined with spectacular sunset, dolphin and North Causeway Intracoastal views is also a favorite in the evenings. And for the most fun afternoon on the weekends, we always hit Toni and Joe's on the beach to jam with "The Highway Flyers" classic rock and blues band.

We are almost afraid to say how much we loved being here because we want there always to be room for us to return! Pam and Andy were wonderful, as were Deanna and Alfonso. The view from both porches and the sound of the ocean were spectacular. Watching the different birds and dolphins while having coffee was a great way to start our day. There are many interesting things in the area to do and see. Lots of yummy food within walking distance as well as all the shops on Flagler and canal street. The beach was perfect for long strolls and collecting shells. Felt like our home away from home.
We hope you made it home safely and look forward to your return!
Very clean, beautifully decorated condo! Loved the view from the very large balcony. Nice and quiet and a short walk to the local restaurants and shops. The pool was never crowded and crystal clear. You can lounge in the pool and view the ocean. What a great place!
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will come back again!
THE CONDO WAS AWESOME,EXACTLY AS PORTRAYED IN THE PHOTOS. PAM WAS EXTREMELY EASY TO DEAL WITH AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE A PLEASANT STAY IN THIS CONDO. THE BALCONY WAS FANTASTIC, THE VIEW PERFECT. THERE ARE MANY RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY AND SHOPPING!! I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK.
Don't miss out!
Wow, what a relaxing and rejuvinating week we had here at Pam and Andy's condo. The beautiful sunrise that was viewable from the master bedroom balcony or the living room balcony was like a breath of fresh air every morning- while soaking in the sound of the crashing waves. It made waking up early a priority for me just so I would not miss the beautiful sight. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and late night swims in the well maintained pool. Our week here could not have been more perfect. This area was quiet, yet friendly; laid back, yet within walking distance to Flagler Ave that offers a variety of activities. This was the perfect place to unwind from the day to day activities of our normal lives. Pam and Andy have a beautiful place and they make sure that from check in to check out you are totally taken care of. Our stay was one that we will not easily forget...
the perfect vacation home with lots of extras!
We had a group of 15 and were able to get 4 condos for the four families who came from all over for a great family reunion. The accommodations are beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the proximity to the beach makes multiple visits a day like a walk in your own back yard! Evenings at the pool, a late night crab hunt, early morning beach walks, and lots of visiting back and for made the vacation ideal for us. We'd recommend this condo highly and would happily return. Thank you Pam and Andy!
Live like a local, vacation like a tourist
New Smyrna is Florida without pretension. If you're looking for wall to wall tourist traps, interminable restaurant waits, and bumper to bumper traffic then this is NOT the place for you. The vibe here is laid back and is exactly what a vacation should be. Park your car, as a handful of restaurants, bars, and shopping are all within walking distance. Wake up as early or as late as you'd like- the beach is uncrowded and wrestling fellow tourists for a spot completely unnecessary. The Atlantic water is cool and clear, the sand sugar white and clean. Don't want to sit still? Bike the beach or explore Flagler Ave. Want to range farther out? Daytona is only 20 minutes away, Orlando a little over an hour. The condo is well kept, tastefully decorated and a great jumping off point for the beach, the pool or whatever else the day may bring. The balcony provides an incredible view of the beach and the water beyond. This is a vacation destination where the reality matches the fantasy.
The Golden Arms is located along a beautiful stretch of beach on the north side of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. A perfect destination in itself for building sandcastles, surfing, playing or fishing in the surf, swimming in the pool by the ocean, or biking or shelling along the beach. Parasailing, kayaking, deep sea fishing and golfing opportunities abound within the community.
An important feature that sets Golden Arms apart is s close proximity to Flagler Avenue. Just an easy walk away, Flagler Avenue is the beachside main drag. It has an 'old Florida' appeal that most other coastal cities lost long ago. It is a true seaside beach street featuring a mix of locally owned restaurants, diners, coffee shops, ice cream stands, galleries, bars, unique shops, and bicycle rentals, without a chain name in sight. The Flagler Avenue Merchants Association sponsors Art Walks, Wine Walks, Food Trucks, and Festivals on a regular basis, giving residents and visitors an excuse to party in the streets! In the evening, catch a set of live music at one of the many bars, or grab a sunset dinner at Riverview Grill and watch dolphins and boats coming under the pink North Causeway bridge.
If you choose to leave this bucolic setting, Golden Arms is approximately one hour from Disney World, Universal, Sea World and all other Orlando attractions, an easy day trip to historic St. Augustine and the Outlet Malls, less than 45 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center and only 20 minutes from the Daytona International Speedway.
