Villa Escondida is the perfect hideaway! Spend the day lounging on the patio, reading a book, floating in the swimming pool. In the evening, go to one of the many wonderful restaurants in the area.

The house was built in 2004 and features large rooms and an open floor plan. The front foyer flows into the formal sitting room and the spacious formal dining area. The master suite is to the right of the front foyer, offering privacy even when you have company. The master suite features a king size bed, a walk in closet and a massive master bath with two sinks, a whirlpool tub, and a massive walk in shower. The other two bedrooms are to the left of the foyer. Each bedroom is large, with large closets. The bedrooms are connected by a spacious bathroom. The beautiful kitchen, featuring a center island, is open to an informal dining area and the family room.

The patio area is screened in (completed in 2013) and features a table for six, a small refridgerator, and a sitting area. The patio can be accessed from the family room, the sitting room, or the bedroom.

The pool features a tanning platform on one end and a spa on the other end. The pool is absolutely beautiful - you will love it!

We have a nice sized dock (built in 2013) on the water's edge. It is great for fishing or just watching the magnificent view!

The house also includes a half bath off the patio, an office, and a washer and dryer.

We spend the summers in South Dakota and then migrate to Florida in the spring and fall when the weather gets too cool for us up north! We are the ultimate snow birds, heading to Mexico for January, February, and March! We honeymooned on Sanibel Island and talked about retiring to this area and voila! We are avid pickle ball players and like to bicycle.

When looking for a house in Cape Coral, we decided south-east Cape Coral was the best location. We looked at many houses, but knew immediately that this house was THE HOUSE as soon as we saw it. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful and the location across from the eco park is ideal - no neighbors across the way, a great view and more privacy.

What makes this house unique

The kitchen is a dream - lots and lots of cupboards, two sinks, granite countertops - it is really great. I like having a spa in additional to the swimming pool. Of course, the tanning platform in the pool is also really nice!

We are close to just about everything! Located within a mile of the Veterans Memorial Parkway, it is easy to get to Ft. Myers and head to the beaches or reach any destination in Cape Coral. The movie theater is located about a mile away in the Coralwood Center. A grocery store is located less than 2 miles away. The Eco Park across the canal is a beautiful place to walk and observe nature at its best. The Caloosahatchee River is a short boat ride away down the canal and then you are a hop skip and a jump from Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers Beach. Cape Coral also has its own beach. Anybody up for a game of pickleball? There are numerous places to play in the area and lots of really good competition. The children love Mike Greenways miniature golf, arcades, and batting cages.
