About Shada Biabani-Kanine

I have lived in Michigan all my life and have always spent my summers at Point Lookout. We sold our original family cottage and built this year-round home in 1996. I love to walk the beach and go to sleep listening to the sound of the water. I enjoy sailing, swimming and just relaxing on the beach!

My husband and I have reached a point in time where our teenage kids keep us busy and we are not able to spend as much time at the cottage, so we have decided to share it with others.

Shada Biabani-Kanine purchased this cottage in 1996

Why Shada Biabani-Kanine chose Au Gres

Point Lookout is a private, family resort area where generation after generation spend their summers. It is a peaceful and beautiful place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.

What makes this cottage unique

The shore of Lake Huron is beautiful any time of the year, but especially when you can take a swim, go for a sail or play on the beach.

We'd stay here again

  • 5 of 5

The house was fantastic. We had all the comforts of home. There was plenty of room with the open floor plan. There is enough room for 7 to sleep comfortably, plus room on couches for a few more. The beach is a short walk away. The covered front porch offers plenty of room and as an extra bonus there is a washer and dryer in the basement. We would stay here again.

Enjoyed Our Stay

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a welcoming decor, with plenty of room for our loved ones to stop by and visit. The weather was chilly, but we stilled enjoyed a walk to the lake, and trips into Au Gres and Tawas. Everyone who came by commented positively about the place. It was nice to have a few days to relax in one spot, eat in, and do some laundry, in between having obligations to see family and friends around our Home State. Thanks for letting us stay.

Spacious and well very well for a large family with 3 BR & loft and 2 full Baths

  • 5 of 5

We totally enjoyed our stay..the home had everything we needed and had a great location for us. The home is not on the lake directly but offers views from the large front porch and many rooms inside. There are several "public access" areas to access the beach. I would highly recommend this beautiful home and will look forward to staying here again in the future. The home is very nicely decorated and maintained and the owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive.

Nice Family Cottage.

  • 4 of 5

We rented the cottage for a family vacation. It was well taken care of and clean. The location was very pretty, too. Loved having my coffee on the front porch every morning. The kids were able to ride their bikes to the beach and back. They loved the loft upstairs and often hung out there when they weren't outside playing. We would definitely rent again. I would have given a higher rating if the TV would have been better ( small and no cable) and our beds a little bit more comfortable.

Nice Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

Rented the cottage for a golf outing. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Right across the street from Huron Breeze golf course. All amenities were there at the cottage. The rental process was well executed as well. The owner was very easy to work with and prompt in returning inquiries. I will definitely be booking this property again next year if the dates are available.
