About Cindy Hannah
On Sept 5, 1998 Gary and I met and just 6 weeks later, on Oct 24, 1998 we were married here in Pigeon Forge. Our favorite times were spent staying in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains and we did so as often as we could. When it was time for us to go home, He would always look at me and say 'I can't Bear to Leave'. Sadly, in 2009 Gary passed away unexpectedly. I couldn’t think of a better way to remember our great times in the Smokies than to build my own little cabin in the Smoky Mountains. So, in Dec 2014, 'Can't Bear to Leave' was completed. I hope you will enjoy it and love it as much as I do. I am blessed to have you share it with me and make your own wonderful memories in my beautiful cabin in the Smokies. There is something magical about these mountains and they will always own a piece of my heart. I hope you will be able to find your own magic here and make life long memories at 'Can't Bear to Leave'. When I am not in the Smokies, I reside in Fort Mill SC. I enjoy spending time with my two children, Shannon and Justin, and three precious grand babies. I am also a huge animal lover and live with a horse, dog, cat and chickens. Many Blessings, Cindy Hannah

Why Cindy Hannah chose Pigeon Forge
After searching for more than a year for the perfect piece of property, when I saw the 50 mile breathtaking view from this lot, I knew my search was over. I could just picture my master bedroom with walls of glass over looking the amazing view. I sat down with my daughter, Shannon, who is a home designer and we created my dream cabin. I knew I wanted a deck from every level with rocking chairs and dining tables to overlook the view. I kept you, the guest in mind when designing each and every room, from the media room with traditional movie seating, to the living room with stone fireplace, the game room overlooking the view and last but not least....the beautiful master bedroom with jetted tub and stone fireplace with it's walls of glass over looking Mount LeConte and Bluff Mountain.

The views were gorgeous of this cabin however they were building a new cabin beside of it and it was a construction site to the left of the cabin. The fireplace in the master wasn’t working, a bottle of lotion was in the bathroom floor, only 2 pillows on the master bed and not that one can control it but the neighbors were extremely loud and you could hear through the cabin. With extremely strict guidelines to follow I don’t know that it’s worth staying in a VRBO.
I'm truly sorry you did not consider my cabin a 5-star review. I'm also sorry that you didn't call me so that I could answer some of your concerns and questions. To address some of your concerns, the extra pillows are in the cedar blanket chest along with additional blankets. That is addressed in your arrival information, I'm sorry you missed it. I have checked with my housekeeper and she assures me there was no bottle of lotion left on the floor. I feel blessed to have one of the best housekeepers in the Smoky Mountains. The fireplace in the master bedroom has to be per code for bedroom use. With this said, the fireplace looks like it's barely on. Unfortunately that is per code so it's not as strong a flame as the one in the family room. I'm sorry you could hear the guests next door but it's impossible to get any more insulation through solid log walls.
Again I wished you had contacted me with some of your concerns and I could have clarified a lot of it.
Beautiful cabin, gorgeous view!
My husband and I, along with his parents, had a wonderful weekend in Cindy’s cabin! It was very clean, which is important to me, and the views were gorgeous!
Beautiful, views outstanding
Had a great time. Cabin not that far from Pigeon Forge. Enjoyed the cabin. Loved the master bedroom and bath
The cabin was very well taken care of. It was clean and had many activities for the kids.
We loved the cabin for a family vacation. The view was amazing!! The cabin had many things for the kids to do. They loved the pool table and arcade games. The cabin was very clean and maintained. It is very close to Pigeon Forge where we spent some time at and the Smoky Mountains. We hope to make it back!
Where do I begin?!? First, Cindy, the owner, couldnt be better. She was so helpful from the very beginning. Made me feel like family! We spent a week at her cabin and everything was perfect! The cabin is in a beautiful area not far from Pigeon Forge. If you’re looking to do things in that area, it’s the perfect location to be close but still secluded. The VIEWS are AMAZING. We spent every evening eating dinner on the porch over looking the mountains. At night we went to the third floor balcony and star gazed. In the mornings, we saw lots of rabbits in the back off the porch. My kids loved the game room which had a pool table, arcade, and checkers table. We also loved watching movies in the theater. The ac was cold, the beds were super comfortable and the place was perfectly clean!!!! We really couldn’t “bear to leave”. We will 100% stay here for our next visit to Gatlinburg. Thank you for being a wonderful host Cindy!!!!!
On a side note, if you have kids, or even if you don’t, check out Friendly Falls nearby. The owner is fantastic and the place is so special. Kids can wade in the water, mine for gems, go on a gnome scavenger hunt and so much more! They have tons of beer options and great snack style foods to choose from.
Clean, spacious, and amazing views!! We had a wonderful time!!
Pigeon Forge is known for her activities and social life. Within a few minutes you will find some of the best entertainment in the country. There are numerous Live Theaters, Comedy Shows, Dinner Theaters and Amusement parks. Just a few of my favorites are: Country Tonight, Smith Family Theater, Dollywood, Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, Hatfield and McCoys, The Comedy Barn, Titanic and Dixie Stampede.
Pigeon Forge also has numerous thrill rides such as bungee jumping, roller coasters, zip lining, indoor sky diving, go carts racing and much more. For the guest looking for a more relaxed vacation you will find horseback riding, putt putt, the newly opened 'Island' which offers restaurants, music, kiddie rides and shopping.
The Smokies are also known for it's annual festivals such as the Craft Show in Gatlinburg and it's Hot Rod and Antique Car shows that come to Pigeon Forge each year. You will also find some of the best outlets in the country as well such as the Tanger Outlet, Knifeworks, Country Western Attire, Lodge Cast Iron Outlet and many many more.
You can't come to the Smokies without experiencing it's country cooking. Some of my favorite restaurants are The Old Mill, Catfish, Mama's Kitchen, the Chocolate Monkey and of course you can't come to Pigeon Forge without visiting the Apple Barn Restaurant and shops. The Apple Barn has been awarded best restaurant in the Smokies year after year.
In downtown Gatlinburg you will find a 'walking town' with numerous shops, restaurants and activities. Gatlinburg offers the Ripley's Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or not, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and the chairlift that takes you to the top of the mountain where you can look down of the view of Gatlinburg.
