nkt worth it

  • 1 of 5

Brought family, stayed 2 weeks, horrible beach until your past the dock-kids got rashes, no television, can't open windows because if there are screens they are mostly broken, no cleaning supplies and was dirty, not enough light, looks like hasn't been cleaned-EVER, some got eaten alive by bugs in the cabin, old everything accept fridge, might as well allow pets, wouldn't make it any worse, dryer keeps flipping the breaker so it takes all day, fans covered in inch of dust and don't work in any room, garage and Florida room half assed additions, no garbage pick up, leaks, might as well demolish it and rebuild it, doesn't look like it's EVER BEEN CLEANED! I want money back!!! We stay ocean font, 2500 sq feet with 3 bedrooms in Hilton Head island for $300 less a week!!!!! Found rusty nails, fish hooks, etc in the beach! Great view from the dock and that's about it!!!!!!

Real estate agent should warn people a head of time that if your looking for a cottage don't rent this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great View - everything else really not very nice

  • 1 of 5

The rental had a very nice view but everything else was really disappointing. It was very old and smelly inside. No grill. No coffee maker. Dark - not enough lamps. Kitchen was stocked very sparse - no bowls. Closets were completely empty - no hangers. Really fairly disappointing for how much we spent. Surprised they didn't allow pets - it's not like a pet could make it any smellier. The furniture was very sparse too. Not comfortable.

My Family Had a Great Time!

  • 4 of 5

We had one of the best vacations ever! The cottage worked great for our family. The beach was perfect for our little ones, and the water stays shallow for a long way out into the lake. There was also a mooring for our boat. The interior is definitely out of date but fit our needs, the only things we did inside were eat and sleep. The 2 bathrooms are also a major plus. I would stay again.
