Are you looking for a lovely, comfortable home to allow a visit with your group while in Chattanooga? This spacious home will be a fantastic option for your stay. The view of the city is breathtaking. The house sits on a large lot in the lovely North Shore Residential Area. There is off street parking for 2 or 3 vehicles and of course you can park on the street in front of the house if you'd prefer (there is minimal traffic) The North Shore enjoys the beauty of the Coolidge Park located just on the north side of the Tennessee River with outdoor events and activities scheduled much of the year.

Coolidge Park, Frazier avenue and the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge are a 4 minute ride in your car. This bridge connects the North Shore to downtown where you'll find the local attractions such as the Tennessee Aquarium, the Children's Science Museum, the Hunter Museum of Art, etc. Remember the North Shore is hilly, so wear your walking shoes!

Wonderful restaurants and coffee shops dot Frazier Avenue, located just at the bottom of the hill so bring your appetite too!

This 2400 SF single family 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located very close to all the wonderful sites in downtown Chattanooga. The main floor has a spacious living room with queen size sofa bed and a 60" television, a fully supplied kitchen ( no microwave) and a dining table large enough to seat 8. There are three comfortable bedrooms; 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king bed. Each have their own television too!

The cozy, bonus room, just a few steps up from the main floor has a single bed as well.

WiFi internet access, Netflix subscription service and Cable Television are supplied.

LAUNDRY

A guest laundry area is also provided that includes a full size washer and dryer, laundry soap, iron, and ironing board.

NON-SMOKING HOME. Smoking in the house is grounds for eviction and damage deposit retention.

Rental is for the purpose of sleeping/housing the specified number of people for the time reserved. This is not a party venue, meeting place, or social club.

The Tennessee Aquarium located at 1 Broad Street is a 8 minute drive. Comfortable home with spacious deck to relax and watch the city life.

Great location and home for family vacation in Chattanooga!

We took our two little girls along with my brother and sister in law and their young son for a weekend trip to Chattanooga and couldn't have been happier with this house. It's in an excellent location for most every Chattanooga attraction and has plenty of space. We had to park on the street, but it wasn't a big deal. There's a tenant in the basement apartment, but we were never bothered by them at all. I'll definitely try to book this place again whenever we take another trip to Chattanooga.

Perfect House in North Chattanooga!

We were visiting Chattanooga for a family wedding, but ended up feeling like we were on vacation in a resort. The house was beautifully appointed, spotless, and close to the Publix and North Shore restaurants and amenities. Tina really took time to make the house feel like home - especially for my grandchildren. Thanks and we hope to come back soon to stay again!

Very Nice House

My family enjoyed a long weekend at Tina's house. The house is within walking distance to Coolidge Park and the pedestrian bridge that leads to downtown. It was tastefully decorated and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home - basement apartment

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, well stocked home the beginning of May. Our trip was to include four adults with two cars but ended up just being the two of us with one car. Parking is not ideal. There is street parking, but had we actually had two cars with us, it would’ve been next to impossible for us both to park on the street above the house. There is parking, down the steep driveway, behind the house which takes some skill to maneuver. I can’t imagine doing this in the winter months or with two cars.

It should also be noted that there is a basement apartment in this house. The apartment has a separate entrance in the rear of the house. The driveway parking behind the house was used by the basement occupants. As noted in the listing, the owner states, “We may have access to the basement apartment…” I misread that information. I thought that if we needed more space, we could also rent the basement apartment. I didn’t realize that the basement apartment might be occupied by other individuals, which was the case for our last two nights. The couple that occupied the basement apartment were not loud by any means. However, it should be noted that they were easily heard, talking in normal voices, through the vent in the main level master bedroom. It was a little weird to hear people talking, whom you did not know, regardless of the locked door to the basement.

The house is in a great location, conveniently located on the North Shore. It is within walking distance to all of the quaint shops and restaurants on the North Shore. However, the hills, the steep hills; they make it next to impossible to walk if you are not in super great shape. I also do not remember seeing sidewalks on the street in which the house is located. You can drive to downtown Chattanooga in less than 10 minutes. Publix and Walgreens are less than a five minute drive as well.

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at Oliver house. It's unfortunate that the guests in the apartment bothered you. I lived in this house myself with tenants below for a number of years and never found it to be the problem you describe - I think they may have been particularly loud. However, to avoid any likelihood of a repeat, we have decided to limit the the apartment below to 1 guest/tenant so that we can minimize this issue further and be certain that the guests staying in the main house are not disturbed. It's true! The North Shore of Chattanooga is quite hilly. This brings the beauty and variety that makes the area so wonderful. The driveway in the winter would be a difficult in our rare snowstorms if it weren't for the fact that the entire city shuts down until the roads are well thawed since we have only 3 snow plows and they are usually in the ditch within 15 minutes of deployment :) As I said, we lived in this home for years and never found the 104 foot elevation increase from Frazier Avenue to our home to be a particular problem, but everyone has difference endurance limits. I'm glad you pointed this out in your review so that some people would know they may have to drive even though it is only a few blocks from Frazier Avenue. Regarding the parking, we have since moved the mailbox and neighbors trash cans, so there is now a full 60 feet of space for parking in front of the house, plus the additional spot behind.
