The Living Room and Dining Rom have a large bay window and sliding glass doors that look out on the Front Range and Pikes Peak, with a south western exposure and incredible sunset views. Decorated with natural elements and textures, the two rooms blend together effortlessly to create the perfect open area entertaining experience. They feature hand-sculpted oak hardwood floors and include a new, luxurious, Pottery Barn Sleeper Sofa and soft leather Lay-Z-Boy recliner. The remodeled Kitchen, accented with Cherry Cabinets and modern appliances, faces the same mountain range. It features beautiful Silestone counter tops, ample easily accessible pantry space, and is fully equipped with dishes, cooking and baking utensils, and spices.

The Dining Room includes a beautiful, new, distressed hardwood oak table and chairs that seats 8-10 comfortably (see owner regarding further table extension). There is easy access to the patio and new Kitchen Aid Barbecue Grill. The Guest Bath, Master Bedroom and Bath, and another bedroom complete the main floor. A new sliding screen storm door provides free flowing ventilation from the front door to back windows during warmer months, if preferred rather than using AC.

The Master Bedroom includes a Queen Bed, a wall mounted 46” Samsung TV, and front range view. The newly remodeled Master Bath includes 2 sinks, a skylight, and a separate room with toilet, tub/shower combination, and dramatic tile with natural stone colors. An additional upstairs Bedroom has a Full Bed, with a north eastern exposure in which the sun rises. The nearby Guest Bath, easily accessible to the main floor, includes sink, toilet and shower.

The Gas Fireplace warms the room, including an area with a very comfortable Sleeper Sofa. The fully furnished Statement Bedroom includes a Queen Bed, and features soft, newly carpeting that extends from the staircase, family room and hall. The second bedroom or Yoga/Prayer/Meditation Bedroom includes a Twin Bed and new Pergo flooring, with ample space for yoga mats, chairs or cushions (all included), and 2 new automatically inflatable air mattresses. All rooms have easy access to a full Bath with toilet, sink and shower. A convenient Laundry Room, with LG Washer and Maytag Dryer (purchased 3013) complete this floor, which is naturally cool in the summer and toasty warm in the winter.

Included is free High Speed WiFi (50mbps download), generous closet areas and spaciousness throughout the house. The home temperature is easy to control with forced air heating and air conditioning, regardless of the season! There is 2 car parking in the driveway and plenty of street parking in the peaceful residential neighborhood.

Our home away from home

We rented this home during Graduation Week at the Air Force Academy. Karen was very welcoming and provided us with additional chairs and tables so that we could invite family and friends for celebration dinners. The house has a master bedroom and bath on the main floor which was great for my parents. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils so that we could prepare some homemade favorites. The neighborhood is in a great location for heading off to sight see, quick access to the highway, and nearby stores. The gorgeous view of the Front Range from the living room and kitchen are an added bonus! We had a terrific week!

Great Location in Colorado Springs

“Thank you so much for allowing our family to spend the Fourth of July in your lovely home. We’ve enjoyed so many attractions on our visit here such as touring the Air Force Academy, where our son is a Cadet, traveling to the top of Pike’s Peak, lunch in Manitou Springs, and rafting the Royal Gorge. Your house was the perfect place to come “home” to after many busy days of sight-seeing. It was a great space for our family to gather and socialize. The house is in a great location and has a great layout. We definitely hope to have the chance to stay here again on our future visits to the Springs!

Bunny scamper

Had a fun time with my family when we stayed in this lovely house. With a view of snowy Pike's Peak, and bunnies hopping about the yard in the mornings, and plenty of space on the patio to enjoy the views and the wildlife, our time there was very pleasurable. Everyone who came into the house said, this is a great house! Owner has a talented eye for décor. Nice big washer that our daughter appreciated to do a load of laundry. Good location, super close to Garden of the Gods park, which deserves a visit as often as possible. I heartily recommend this house.

Thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely home! The location was ideal for our needs, and the view spectacular! Tamaron enjoyed cooking in your well-appointed kitchen, and I enjoyed cooking on your new grill. It was nice to have enough seating outside when my son had a few friends from USAFA over after graduation. We loved the updated bathrooms!

Can't tell you how much we enjoyed staying here! First of all, what a beautiful view! We had a group of 8 and the house was perfect for our needs. The home is immaculate. We cooked almost all of our meals as the kitchen has everything we could have asked for. There is also a new grill that we used several times. The three full bathrooms have all been beautifully updated. There is a nice, large dining room table and also seating on the patio out back with a table.

Good location for running and hiking at Garden of The Gods.

Karen is a joy to work with and made sure everything we needed was available. Looking forward to staying there again!
