About Sharon George

We live in Paso Robles and just love this town and the surrounding central coast cities. Buying and restoring Sixteen Olives gives us the opportunity to share our community with others. We truly hope you will enjoy every moment of your stay and come back and visit often.

Sharon George purchased this house in 2013

Why Sharon George chose Central Coast

We just fell in love with this classic 1924 California Craftsman Bungalow sitting on a quiet corner with the inviting front porch and just a few short blocks from downtown.

What makes this house unique

Location, ambiance, front porch, many original architectural details intact including hardwood floors, built-ins, crown molding and more.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Sharon was a fantastic host. When she met us to give us the keys she was extremely accommodating with our hectic timing. The house was beautiful. It had everything one could need to stay there for an extended trip, without being cluttered or messy. The house was in lovely condition. The beds were extremely comfortable. This is the standard I wish for all rentals when I travel.

a charming bungalow

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at Sixteen Olives. The house is comfortable, well appointed and well stocked - and has a comfy front porch, too.

We wanted cook our Thanksgiving dinner "at home" and found everything we needed! All kinds of pans and utensils were in the kitchen.

The location is excellent, just a 10 minute walk to downtown.

Thank you, Sharon!

Well stocked and in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at 16 olives. Sharon was great and keeps the house well stocked. It is an easy walk to the restaurants and tasting rooms around the main square. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit paso.

A quaint home with all you need

  • 5 of 5

We needed a place to stay to see Bonnie Raitt and hit some wineries. What a great home base 16 Olives turned out to be. It was a quaint home in a good neighborhood and had all the modern conveniences you could want. The place was immaculate and the furniture was inviting. We cooked in almost every meal and the grill and kitchen let us cook like we were home. The bed in the master was awesome and sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening made for a great start and end to the day. Next door was a hummingbird feeder that was the most popular spot in the neighborhood, making for fun bird watching. Sharon met us at the property and showed us around so we could find all the switches, etc. Will definitely stay here on our return to Paso!
