About Sharon George

We live in Paso Robles and just love this town and the surrounding central coast cities. Buying and restoring Sixteen Olives gives us the opportunity to share our community with others. We truly hope you will enjoy every moment of your stay and come back and visit often.

Sharon George purchased this house in 2013

Why Sharon George chose Central Coast

We just fell in love with this classic 1924 California Craftsman Bungalow sitting on a quiet corner with the inviting front porch and just a few short blocks from downtown.

What makes this house unique

Location on a shaded corner lot, ambiance, front porch, many original architectural details intact including hardwood( albeit squeaky) floors , built-ins, crown molding and more.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Sharon was a fantastic host. When she met us to give us the keys she was extremely accommodating with our hectic timing. The house was beautiful. It had everything one could need to stay there for an extended trip, without being cluttered or messy. The house was in lovely condition. The beds were extremely comfortable. This is the standard I wish for all rentals when I travel.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

We came for the wine festival and enjoyed this house immensely. Close enough to downtown to walk it and far enough away to not hear any of the partying. We loved the front porch to sit at night and the size was perfect for 2 couples. Thank you Sharon!

Great property in the Heart of Paso Robles

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully renovated house in the heart of town. Plenty of room for lounging. The front porch was our hangout for coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evening. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal including many different spices. The beds were quite comfortable and the showers had very good water pressure. Lots of charm in this one. Sharon met us upon arrival and showed us around and even made a personal phone call for us to a local winery to get us a special tasting because she knew someone. Very nice personal touch. Thanks for hosting a great mini vacation Sharon. Hope to see you again.

Delightful, sweet and Comfy

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this sweet little house. Sharon has taken every measure to ensure that the accommodations are comfortable - the oversized living room furniture is great to relax in after a day of wine tasting and the beds are plush. The kitchen is well equipped, and you're just a few blocks from the town square and great restaurants. 16 Olives will be our new go-to address for our Paso get-aways.

Great time (although short) staying at the Olive!

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for us. Walking distance to shops and food or just for a walk! Having the 2 bathrooms was a must. The outside sitting area - both on the front of the house and the side made it perfect for relaxing outdoors. The kitchen was well equipped and the Keurig was a plus. We will definitely stay here again.

An inviting 1924 bungalow full of charm, with special attention to details.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Sharon's adorable 1920's bungalow for 4 days, and loved it! This house has been impeccably renovated and furnished, with particular attention to the smallest of details. Sparkling clean. Anything you can think of, it has been provided. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a short 10-minute walk to the town's center, shopping and restaurants. Off street parking; front porch seating to enjoy coffee or wine; private patio with grill, table & chairs. This is one of the nicest "home away from home" places you can find. A true gem!
