A lovely, relaxing gem right on the lake.

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a few days at this special place and were treated to Vermont's fall delights. The house is well-kept, comfortable, clean and spacious. The woodwork throughout the home, and stone fireplace make it feel warm and rustic. The house sits feet away from the Lake Champlain, with an inviting wrap-around porch to view it all, and a dock as well. The sun-rise and sun-sets are amazing, and can be seen from the porches and rooms too! Though other homes are near, when looking out to the lake, it feels beautifully solitary. Burlington is an easy, scenic ride by car. This is a truly special place for singles, couples, families, friends...

Perfect sunsets

  • 5 of 5

Every morning we sat on the dock, usually with a jump in the lake regardless of temperature, and every evening was spent watching the sunset like it was a movie. Many pictures were taken! This house has one of the best locations in Long Point. Very private with easy water access. It was a short drive for outings in Vergennes, Middlebury, and Shelburne. On July 3 we saw a few different displays of fireworks from the upstairs porch. It was a nice way to celebrate the holiday without any traffic or crowds.

Oasis of Peace

  • 5 of 5

I flew into Burlington from the Netherlands and friends fetched me from BTV in June 2015. I spent some wonderful days in GlenEyrie with a few of friends. The house is perfect to stay with family or group of people. Everyone can have their privacy. The views from up and down porches and every window is beautiful and the surrounding little neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

The house has everything you need. We had a perfect time and recommend it especially if you lie being close to the water.

Dove

I had a great time at this property. I was with friends who I knew and a few I had just met. The place was sweet with just the right amount of space. We had some rain and it was beautiful to hear and watch from the porch. The sunset are the best! Great walking and biking! I was glad to have gone my first trip to Lake Champlain. Really big lake.

Have a blast.

Gorgeous GlenEyrie

  • 5 of 5

Stunning views and breathtaking sunsets watched from the porch every night is what I remember best from our time at the camp. GlenEyrie is a beautiful location to watch wildlife and take advantage of water sports. It was a wonderful refuge from the noisy life in NYC and I spent there a month with my newly born son. The area is great for long walks in the woods or around the lake and the house is cozy and welcoming. Wonderful hosts add to the experience. We will definitely go there again.
