About Erika Beeson

We live in Birmingham, AL and have been married for 20 years. Lately we have been spending all of our vacation time exploring the country on motorcycles so we decided to offer our beautiful condo to others to enjoy as much as we do.

Why Erika Beeson chose Beaches of South Walton

We viewed a dozen properties before Redfish Village stole our hearts at first glance. It is a gorgeous, well maintained property that remains untapped and under the radar. Blue Mountain Beach in general is very quiet and peaceful.

What makes this condo unique

Redfish Village has its own private beach entrance with private restrooms and shower facilities. Free shuttle to the beach is available. There is also a service that rents beach chairs and umbrellas.

Great Location and Very Comfortable

We spent 3 nights at this property and enjoyed ourselves from the close proximity to the beach and the pool to the comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this property to any family with a couple of kids and 4 adults. I have stayed at quite a few properties in the past and this one was perfect.

Great rental!

We have stayed at Redfish several times and this was the cleanest rental yet. The condo was nicely furnished and decorated also - the pictures don't do it justice. Very comfortable as well!

Great Family Fun

This was our families first trip to this area. We had a blast staying in this condo.

The beach was a 2 minute cart ride away(and we never waited more then 5 minutes for it to pick us up). The walk was also easy to do, with donuts and ice cream on the way! The little ones made the walk easily, though they thought riding on the cart was way more fun.

The area in and around Redfish Village was inviting and relaxing. On a holiday weekend we expected difficulty getting around and finding space on the beach. While some of the other towns felt more crowded, we had no such troubles.

Erika was great to work with, always friendly and helpful.

Beautiful condo! Very clean & comfortable

We were booked to stay in this unit Oct 4 thru 9. As we were driving down, we received a call to notify us that we wouldn't be able to get into the until until the 6th (due to the condo painting the floors on the level where our condo was located). Erika was helpful and located another condo on the 4th floor for us to stay in the first 2 nights before we would have access to her condo on Thursday. I was sad to hear we'd have to spend 1 morning of our brief vacation moving from one unit to another. We had hoped to be compensated in some way for this incovience (even though it was not the fault of the condo owner). There was MUCH painting going on all week and we weren't able to use the "garage" due to painting. It would've been nice to have had some notice of all the painting/repair work that would be happening in advance. It was not what we'd planned to encounter and probably wouldn't have booked this unit if we'd known in advance. The substitution condo was booked by Erika through Serling Resorts. When we arrived that evening, we were unable to get into the unit due to the fact that he door code didn't work. After 45 min of calling Erika and Sterling Resorts, Erika was eventually able to get the door code reset so we could get into the unit (Sterling Resorts was on little to not assistance/and not very accommodating). Very unimpressed with their after hours service and would not ever book through them in the future. To make a long story short(er) we did enjoy our time in this unit. The beds were wonderful & everything was very clean. Only suggesting don't book during the Blue Crab Festival (held Oct 8,'16). It was very noisy and difficult to sleep as the unit faced the festival. This was the first annual festival and the workers stayed up until 3am setting up the Friday night(10/7) for the festival on 10/8. Owner did provide white noise machines in each bedroom so that did help slightly. Other than this particular weekend"s event, the unit was beautiful & comfortable. The shuttle to the beach was easy to catch and beach service is very accommodating.

Excellent maintained and decorated property. Two lovely and quite master suites

Great property. Convenient shuttle to beach with private entrance, baths and beach services. Pool is lovely and peaceful. Property is quite and you don't see many people coming and going. On site restarunt is great as well as local fare writhing a few blocks. We will be there again.
