Perfect.

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at the cabin for a week preparing for a bass tournament on Chautauqua. Awesome. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. 2 families and a couple extra friends with a 3 trucks pulling boats and 3 cars so plenty of parking. One of the owners met me (really great guy!) when I arrived and showed me EVERYTHING! I mean there was nothing they were not prepared for. All guests are able to show up and to relax. If you forgot anything they have you covered. Fantastic place to stay!

Beautiful, Secluded Cabin in the Woods with Easy Access to Lake Chautauqua

  • 5 of 5

The eight of us stayed at Sleepy Hollow for a 20 year reunion in late May, 2015. The rental exceeded our expectations every turn. There is a huge amount of outdoor space for yard games, throwing the football around and having a fire in the backyard. There are also trails to explore the surrounding woods. The large parking area accommodated all the vehicles with room to securely store a boat. The open floor plan of the cabin makes it easy to share with a group. The sleeping area upstairs is one room. There are plenty of beds, but the one room design cuts down on the privacy. It worked fine for a group of friends or a family, maybe not so desirable for couples. The kitchen and outdoor grill had anything you'd need to bake, BBQ, sauté, boil or otherwise cook during your visit.

The cabin is located about an 8 minutes drive from Bemus Point where you can find a few dining options and lake access. We did most of our shopping at Tops grocery (15 minute drive). I also recommend a trip to the Southern Tier brewery. Schedule time for a tour or sit out at the picnic tables with beer and pretty good food from the kitchen. We also played the Stones game at the brewery (http://stonesthrowing.com/). It takes a few minutes to understand the game, but it's a good couple hours of fun...just don't forget the sunscreen.

We were very please with our stay at Sleepy Hollow. The owner, Jack, made sure we had everything we needed and was only a short drive away if we needed assistance. We will definitely stay at Sleepy Hollow on future vacations and get togethers.
