We came to Baldwin to fish and hunt for a long weekend. The cabin was perfect. The owners were very hospitable, friendly, full of great suggestions, and even helped us gather firewood. We had four of us and it fit us comfortably. We could have fit a few more in as well. There is no oven, but that was no problem with preparation. We cooked great meals and enjoyed evenings by the fire. The gas stove did a great job of making the place cozy and comfortable. The setting is very beautiful. We plan on returning for fishing next year, and this will be high on our list of properties.
Our experience at the Aubert Den
We come to Baldwin every year for the salmon run. We have stayed at a couple of different cabins. The Aubert Den was very nice and comfortable. The owners were very polite and kind. They provided baked goods for us, one of our days there. We always prepare our trip with meals planned. We did have to improvise when we found there was not an oven (there is a stove and a toaster oven). We made it work…just had to make some adjustments. Other than this, the cabin was quite comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We did not get the opportunity to experience the trails behind the cabin…this would be something I would make time for in the future. Thank you for everything!
