This home has it all! When you spend your entire day outdoors sitting poolside (pool is not heated) enjoying impeccable weather, then, spend the evening watching the Pusch Ridge mountains dance with vibrant colors as the sun sets, you know you selected the right vacation spot! We love the ease and accessibility to the multiple golf courses in the area and we enjoy the cosmopolitan side of the area with fine dining, cinema, and shopping. This property is unique because of the 'awesome cowboy theme' and 'views'. An immaculate 3 bedroom, Den, 2 full-bath, 1,803 square feet of open living with vaulted ceilings. A split bedroom floor plan offers a private master wing with a King bed, master bath i.e.: garden tub, separate shower, executive height vanities (granite slab), and walk-in closet. Views! Additional bedrooms offer a queen bed and 2 twin beds with shared hall bath featuring an executive height vanity, bathtub, and shower. A kitchen with stainless steel appliances: refrigerator, smooth top oven/stove, microwave, breakfast nook with dining to seat four. Formal living room with gas fireplace, formal dining table seats 6 and a fully stocked set of dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware; a TV/stereo sitting area with flat screen TV and DVD (and video library), laundry room with storage provide all the comforts of home while you're visiting. Great Rental!

This a beautiful rental house that is clean and very well equipped. We stayed in this home for a month and do not have a single complaint. Beds were comfortable and the back patio was lovely! The Location was amazing - close to golf courses, state parks and tons of shopping and services. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you Kathy and Don - it was a pleasure working with you and we loved your home.

Over all experience was excellent!

This was a beautiful property. Very clean and it had all the amenities we needed. The house was well decorated, very warm and open. It was covenant to restaurants, shopping, movie theaters and golf courses. I would stay here again and I would also recommend it to others. Great experience. Thanks ... Jim Dixon

This was a wonderful experience. The home is beautiful, high quality furnishings, especially clean and everything you would want or need is supplied. The owners were great to work with and everything went smoothly. A sign of being highly organized which is very important to me. I would come back again in a heartbeat. The only thing to keep it from 5 stars is the pool is not heated.

Owner's Response: Hello, Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback as it is greatly appreciated. If we would have been the first owners to have built the pool it would have a heater. I have to say being a native Tucsonan most of the pools are not heated unless they are in a community with a common pool. It is very expensive to heat a pool and the heating costs can be several hundred dollars a month. From poolside...we have a desired mountain view backdrop! We hope to have you back as a preferred guest.

Beautiful home and great location

We stayed the month of January and enjoyed our stay very much. The home and furnishings are beautiful. The location is ideal. It is within walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants and a short drive to a larger mall with a movie theater, many shops and restaurants. The view of the Catalina's is unobstructed and the patio area was perfect for entertaining and sitting around the pool. Would definitely come back!

Wow!! Great short term rental.

This was an amazing place to stay. Everything was as pictured. Home is beautiful, great location, clean, well stocked kitchen and lines, bedding was super comfy, furniture was high end. Everything you need or want is there. This was much better than most other places that I have stayed and I have traveled all over the world.

The pool was not heated, but that really didn't matter because the temps were really hot outside. Private setting with great views of the mountains. Backyard overlooks open area where you can spot wildlife. Close to shopping. Owner was very accommodating anytime I had concerns or questions about the property or area.

Looks are deceiving

Let me preface this by saying this is an absoulutely beautiful home. Beautiful furnishings, nicely appointed kitchen, lovely patio and pool and plenty of space to entertain. But that's where it ends...

All the mattresses are terrible! So terrible that I had to purchase foam mattress toppers just so we could all sleep at night. We slept on the sofas one night because our backs couldn't take the mattresses. The pool also needs to be heated. We were only able to use it 1 day out of our stay because it was hot enough outside that you just wanted to cool off. I know the new owner said they were thinking of putting in a pool heater...they really should. I would have paid the extra to have a heated pool.

The two car garage can only hold 1 car because it has too many things in it. If you have 2 cars, as we did, someone has to park out in the drive.

Another complaint is that the thermostat was pre progammed and locked at 76 degrees. Being from the midwest, that is uncomfortable for sleeping, it really needs to be lowered to at least 72 if not 70. Fortunately, we had a couple of really cool nights and were able to open windows to cool off the house. I did explain this to the new owner but she basically said "too bad, I don't know how to change it". It was "too bad" that the only thing the new home owner really cared about was the way the $199 faux granite sink was taken care of. Seriously, it's a plastic sink, the copper faucet on the sink was more expensive than the sink itself! And it was "too bad" that she thought I ought to wash the bedding before the cleaning crew, which I paid for, came in to clean. Well, live and learn. From now on, I will only rent from someone that has had multiple good reviews.

I would have been more than happy to accommodate your concerns if you would have taken the time to call me and offer me the opportunity to address your concerns. As you are well aware this was the very first time that we rented our vacation home. We accommodated you with a very short notice and accommodated your request for a short stay. We already had a booking for another guest that created a short turn around. So future guests, please notify me of any concerns so that I have an opportunity to fix the issue. It did not occur to me that a guest would not offer me the consideration to help out with a given situation. BTW, the kitchen sink is a high-end granite composite sink…and not a plastic sink as described by Orvia. The air conditioner can be set as low as 74 degrees. The mattresses are subjective. The master has a king bed (firm), we offer a gel foam mattress pad if one prefers a softer bed. Regarding the pool: it is Arizona…the pool does not get to freezing levels. Many guests come from winter wonder land…and enjoy the pool temperature. It's all relative. Why would a person give a bad review, rather than have the grace and courtesy to let us take care of the situation. Future guests please rest assure…we will do everything in our power to accommodate a pleasant stay. Our vacation home is high-end and classy.
