About Stacie Hall
As a owner of a local specialty boutique I really enjoyed redoing these cottages and adding the small personal touches to make each stay an experience. Decorated with coastal flair and equipped right down to the last small detail of our personalized Pink Pineapple candles. We have taken care of even your unexpressed needs.
Stacie Hall purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Stacie Hall chose Newport East
These cottages are just outside the heart of the Newport ( 2 miles) and a $6.00 Uber ride, allowing you easy access to the finest eating establishments without the noise and congestion of the crowds. With its private yard and its proximity to the beaches (.5 miles) it is IDEAL for those looking for a true BEACH vacation. Wake up and walk to Empire tea room for breakfast and then off to the beach - close enough to run home for lunch and still make it back to the beach for sunset. Sure to be a retreat you will tell your friends about and book again for the following year.

Great place for families to gather
Cute 3 families wedding that weekend. Easy to get to everything
BEST cottages ever for our wedding weekend!
These cottages were absolutely amazing for our wedding weekend and Stacie was such a great host! She even let us check in early! Everything about these cottages was perfect! They were so beautifully decorated and a great place for our bridal party to get ready, hang out, and make the most amazing memories! I would HIGHLY recommend renting these from Stacie as we had the most fun!! Thank you for everything Stacie! We had a blast, and will forever remember our wedding weekend in these amazing cottages!
everything was just ok
The overall experience was fine, but we were led to believe the cottages were a little bit bigger than anticipated. In addition, kitchens were not full equipped. There was no tea pot, no blender and some cottages were missing cups and knifes. The air conditioning in the smaller cottage leaked and the unit was damp, the patio furniture was not clean and when we tried to reach the owner, it was very difficult when checking in.
All three cottages were clean, well decorated and air conditioned - At first the Wifi wasn't working but just needed the reset button hit :). honestly there is nothing but great things to say- we were there for a wedding and we all loved it - GREAT LIT TREE in the big center yard for late night festivities. So mush friendlier and fun than a hotel and comes with six bikes- Stacie was amazing to work with - she is not a on property owner but so we didn't get to meet her but there was no need, everything we needed was already there. location was right between TWO great beaches an we walked to one and biked to the other!
Great Cottages in A Perfect Location for us Polo People up to Play in Newport
This was the perfect situation with quaint cottages for privacy for each couple and the picnic table to gather together in the yard for morning coffee & evening cocktails. We can't wait to return next year for Newport vs Phila Polo
The cottages were absolutely darling. That said there were some problems.
One unit had a broken air conditioning unit which they did fix for us the second day.
I am not so sure anyone had been in the units for awhile as the cobwebs were in every corner and all over the ceiling. I did take care of that myself as the caretaker was out to town and hard to get ahold of.
We had a family wedding that weekend and having these 3 little places worked out very well.
Newport is a seaside city on Aquidneck Island in Newport County, Rhode Island, United States. It is located 23 miles (37 km) south of Providence, and 61 miles (98 km) south of Boston. Known as a New England summer resort and for the famous Newport Mansions, it is the home of Salve Regina University and Naval Station Newport which houses the United States Naval War College, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, and a major United States Navy training center. A major 18th-century port city, Newport now contains among the highest number of surviving colonial buildings of any city in the United States. Newport was known for being the city of some of the 'Summer White Houses' during the administrations of Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy. Aquidneck Island is home to many beaches, public and private. In Newport, the largest public beach, Easton's beach, or First Beach, has a view of the famed Cliff Walk. Sachuest Beach, or Second Beach, in Middletown is the second largest beach in the area. Gooseberry Beach is a private beach but is open to the public on certain days throughout the year, and is located on Ocean Drive, along with Newport's two other private beaches, Bailey's Beach (Spouting Rock Beach Association), and Hazard's Beach. The Newport Cliff Walk is considered one of the most popular attractions in the city. It is a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) public access walkway bordering the shoreline, and has been designated a National Recreation Trail. Brenton Point State Park is home to the annual Brenton Point Kite Festival. Newport is also home to the Newport Country Club. The historical club has played host to the 2007 Women's US Open and the 1995 Men's US Amateurs. Fort Adams, an historical fort dating back to the War of 1812 houses the Museum of Yachting and hosts both the Newport Folk Festival and the Newport Jazz Festival annually.
