Flat screen TV w/satellite/cable, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful mahogany wood though out condo. Separate A/C units for bedroom and living. Enjoy watching the beautiful sunrise from your private balcony. This Condo is located on the edge of town and right on the ocean. Walking distance to town and all of the excellent restaurants. Pier close by for private water excursions and fishing. Located close to some of the best beaches on the island. Veranda on roof top for private sunbathing or photography. Mystic Adventures next door can set you up for some fabulous snorkel or dive tours as well as fishing. Maid service is provided three days a week from 10:00pm to 2:00am. Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. We also have a security system.

About Daryl McClendon & Toni McClendon, Yvette Ramirez

We are both retired somewhat, we still manage residential rental properties in the DFW metroplex. I spent most of my working years in Texas. I was born in Plainview Texas, where my parents had a farm. I graduated from West Texas A&M, with BA in marketing. Worked in the cattle and oilfield manufacturing business in Oklahoma and south Texas. Spent the last twenty five years in real estate and in the automotive conversion van industry.

Toni has a legal background in commercial real estate and prepared leases for franchises. Also worked for FAA for 18 years in Washington DC & two years in Puerto Rico.

We live in Pecan Plantation Country Club, just southeast of Granbury, it's somewhat of a private retirement community, on the Brazos River with two golf courses and airports and a lot of 'deer.'

We visited San Pedro in 2013, and fell in love with natural beauty of the crystal clear waters and lovely beaches. The people of San Pedro or very friendly and helpful.

We are feel blessed by our God and savior Jesus Christ.

We were looking for a condo to stay, that was close to town on the ocean and not too expensive. We searched the internet and found the Beliean Reef Suites. We found that the unit we were staying happened to be for sale so we made an offer and bought the unit a few months later. We love the location and the oceanfront views. We were not looking for a fancy expensive place to stay. We wanted something close to town and restaurants and didn't want to rent a golf cart or catch a taxi to get to town. The condo is just north of Ramon's Resort and close to the airport. Ramon's has the best beach on the island. We have a excellent property management team located on the premises. Yvette Ramirez the property manager is from Belize and help any questions you may have about San Pedro. Yvette will meet our guest upon arrival either airport or water taxi's. Yvette makes our guest feel welcomed and will be there on the property. We have Angela, the maid who is the best, she cleans the common area daily and rooms three days a week, and more depending on arriving guest.

What makes this condo unique

Walking distance from town. All of the shops and restaurants are close by. Renting a golf cart or taking a taxi can get expensive.

It would hard to find another condo with 180% oceanfront view for $115 to $150.00 a night! Some condo's advertise oceanfront, but when you get there, you find that it more of a view and you are not on the ocean. Most condo's are built with the majority, having a view only if you happen to be staying in the one built on the end. This condo even has a veranda at the top which allows you see the natural beauty of the island & the second largest barrier reef in world. There is also and adjacent pier for departure for any land or sea adventures.

Notes:
Large terrace on roof top that, allows you to see and take pictures of the beautiful beach, water and reef. Enjoy a beautiful sunrise from your private balcony. This condo is located close to town without being right in town and far enough away from town for privacy. Ramon's is about 100 meters to the right and Blue Water Grill about 100 meters to the left. Fifteen minute walk and you are in the middle of town. Maid service cleans, makes the bed, and brings fresh linens and towels, three days a week.Security camera's and security patrols evenings and night.

Million Dollar View!!!

If you are looking for a true Belizean Island experience....look no further!!! Your million dollar view, immediate access down a Caribbean beach path to beach restaurants and bars are only a FEW of the many pluses of this condo choice.

The owners, Daryl and Toni, happened to be there and were VERY gracious and welcoming. You come as strangers and leave as friends.They pride themselves in keeping their units running perfectly.

The manager, Yvette, and her right arm--Angela--take tender care of your every need before you can even think to inquire. They are priceless and treasured SUPERSTARS on assisting you and knowing what to do on the island and who to connect with for various adventures. Yvette even picks you up at the airport with drinks awaiting your arrival at your new 'home away from home'.

The million dollar view from your porch reflects the amazing hues of the Carribean and provides a great perch for watching the island activities. Loved having our breakfast out there, sipping morning coffee and watching the magnificent sunrises!!!

The amply spaced condo is of Belizean decor, well kept and tended by Angela, and you have everything you could ever possibly need!!! For everyone desiring WiFi, it will serve your needs perfectly.

In our one month stay we wanted for nothing and loved each and every moment!!

You can choose from an abundance of dinner venues, or as we did on occasion , buy shrimp and lobster from the local fishermen, and cook right in your own space....whatever your pleasures..this choice can work!!

We would stay here, again, in a heartbeat❤!!

Great location and service

We had a great time and really enjoyed staying at Belizean Reef. The location couldn’t be better. Yvette is so incredibly helpful and kind. She will assist you with anything you need including booking outings with local guides, or you can take a one minute walk to Ramon’s dock if you prefer the convenience. My only concern with Belizean Reef is there is a gated stairwell that requires a standard small key to open from either side. I do not like the fact that if the building were to catch on fire at anytime and your unit full of smoke thereby hampering your ability to find the key you would be left with no choice but to jump from the balcony. I attempted to leave it open but someone always locked it behind me anyway. Aside from this concern (which I’m sure nobody else shares) I give the facility 5 stars!

Owner's Response: Thanks Lucas for the review. We have the security gate key on a key ring as the room key. We want our guest safe and the security gate will keep anyone out that is not staying or working at our facility. The concrete building has fire extinguishers in every room. Great stay at a great place

Belizean Reef was perfect for our family of four. We had the top floor with a back bedroom and a front room with two futons for our boys. A functional kitchen, and a balcony to look out at the beautiful view. The room was clean and everything worked well. Close to the downtown. The hotel host Yvette met us at the airport and took us back to the room. She gave us great information on things to do while we stayed there and also took us to the Water Taxi when we left. Belizean Reef was a great place to stay, made all the better by the kind, helpful host Yvette.

Great Location, Attentive on-site Manager, kitchen needs updating

Belizean Reef Condo location is walking distance to the airport (although Yvette provides transportation to and from to help with luggage), and has terrific access to San Pedro and beach front water activities. Yvette has an on-site office and always greats you and helps with recommendations for anything you need, bike rentals, diving, grocery, etc. Michael (Blue Heaven) arranged our diving, that included dive trips with him, Amigos Del Mar for the Blue Hole and Turneffe Atolle, and Belize Diving Adventures. All were good. The condo is a good size with nice balcony and view, but needs updating. The microwave is near first generation, works but probably doesn't meet current standards. The oven also functions, but is rustic. Overall the kitchen is aging, but has the necessary items for cooking. The bed is okay, but has a plastic crinkly mattress pad cover. Bath is fine, good shower after a long day of diving. So not ritzy, but the location is so great we would come here again. We loved Belize! Thanks Yvette.

Great Location & Super Friendly Staff!

Really nice place. Clean, Cool & Comfortable. We loved being right on the beach and we walked to all shopping, dining, & excursions. Yvette was a true sweetheart! She picked us up from the water taxi dock in the golfcart, and showed us a quick tour by the important stops. Everything is so close, we didn't need transportation for the entire week. Loved walking up and down the beach every day. Yvette & Angela accommodated to all of our needs. I hope to plan another trip soon. Thank you, Larry & Joi (Huntington Beach, CA)

Oceanfront Condo, Edge of Town- 1 bedroom/1 bath, kingsize bed, two large full size futons , sleeps 6, has lots of storage and closets, fully furnished kitchen, electric oven/stove top, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, refrigerator, bar, table, and balcony. Mahogany wood trim through out. Best location on the island close to Ramon's, which has the best beach on the island and walking distance to town.We have a property manager on site and will meet you upon arrival. We have maid service every day cleaning the common area and are scheduled to clean rooms three days a week.

It has some of the most beautiful natural beaches and clear water in the world. Some of the best dive sites in the world.

It you have never scuba dived, this is a great place to get you PADI, certification. I was certified for 'open water,'PADI in Texas when it was very cold in February, and it took about three weeks, very difficult with cold weather and water. In San Pedro, this past year I went diving with a women that had spent the previous two days getting certification with a PADI instructor. After two days of training in warm water, she was certified and diving. Try to invest in a good camera which is rated for at least two hundred meters. More than likely you won't go beyond a hundred meters or so, but it's best to have a camera that is not under rated. The pictures will be amazing. Lots of fish and beautiful coral. The dive shops offer a variety of one and two tank dives. Depending on where you want to go.

Because of the second largest reef in the world, fishing is great. If you fish on this side of the reef, with calm waters, you will catch a variety of fish, mostly snapper. If you want to catch larger fish, Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, Grouper then you would fish beyond the reef and some distance away.

The people of San Pedro or friendly and helpful. This country has it's share of poor, but most are hard workers and very respectful. There's not a sense of entitlement among the poor, they know they have to work for what they get.

If you are looking for fancy shopping centers and commercial development don't bother to visit. Most everyone either walks, rents golf carts or bikes. I find

San Pedro a breath of fresh air, a romantic link to the simpler things of life.
