Guestbook comments from the owner

Just spent a few days at Matt's guesthouse over the Holidays. The house is lovely and very convenient to everything in Burlington. Matt was very easy to communicate with and helpful with recommending restaurants and things to do around town.

The home was great for entertaining our family of 6 and had plenty of space to cook, eat and lounge. Looking forward to another visit this summer!

Chaming house, great location!

  • 5 of 5

House was perfect for our family visit to Burlington. Cute, well decorated place with lots of space. We found it very convenient to be able to walk just about everywhere. Would stay again.

Great location, but lacking some basics

  • 3 of 5

Great location. Very old house, so things are not modern. The owner was very responsive when we had a few issues. Walking distance to Church Street and a great bike shop and the waterfront.

Great location, somewhat run down

  • 3 of 5

The property was perfect for its location. Two families were able to stay comfortably and we were able to walk just about everywhere. I would give the location 5 stars. The property itself is a bit run down. Some of the deck chairs were broken, the toaster did not work and the pots and pans and grill were pretty dirty making us not really want to cook in the house. I would also agree with a previous post in saying that some of us were seriously affected by allergies in the house. Overall our party had a great stay in Burlington and we were able to experience the city and all it had to offer by staying in such a great location.

Great location but a bit worn

  • 3 of 5

Did not realize it was not air conditioned. Furniture was old and worn (in living room). But loved the location

Ideal location - accommodating space!

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay at Matt's place. The downtown and waterfront are at your doorstep, and the house has plenty of room to spread out. A couple items for babies were also available.

Highly recommend the house for anyone who wants a walkable vacation!

Great stay in the heart of Burlington!

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for a week for a UVM graduation and this was the perfect spot -- convenient to everything and roomy enough to accommodate our fluctuating group size (from 3 to 9) as guests came and went during the graduation festivities. We walked to most locations (Church Street, waterfront, restaurants, etc.) and really appreciated the off-street parking next to the house. Thanks Matt!
