Guestbook comments from the owner

Just spent a few days at Matt's guesthouse over the Holidays. The house is lovely and very convenient to everything in Burlington. Matt was very easy to communicate with and helpful with recommending restaurants and things to do around town.

The home was great for entertaining our family of 6 and had plenty of space to cook, eat and lounge. Looking forward to another visit this summer!

Great location!

We were able to leave our car parked at the house the entire weekend because everything was within walking distance of the house. It made for an easy time exploring Burlington

Very Clean and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Five girlfriends on a getaway trip to Burlington Vermont rented this great four bedroom, two bath, house. It was a short walk to both Church

Street where many restaurants and shops are and to the waterfront where we took a boat tour. We found the layout to be very suitable for

us and had plenty of room to dine together and just hang out on a rainy day, without getting in each others way. The owner was very helpful

and the person sent to help out when we weren't sure how to turn the heat on was prompt and reliable. I would recommend this rental to anyone

looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay and near enough to walk.

Great Location and Home

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed our recent stay in Burlington this July. You can't beat the location of this house, great food, shopping and attractions in every direction. The house is spacious, well equipped and easily accommodated 6 adults. Matt was quick to respond to emails and question during and prior to our stay.

Great House

  • 5 of 5

We came up from NYC for my son's wedding. The house was a perfect 'home base' for our family. Everything we needed was there. We were actually able to host a day after wedding brunch for wedding guests. The open floor plan, as well as the deck and back yard, made it an easy flow.

Matt was great at promptly returning emails.

Some updates might be helpful - the double bed mattresses are pretty worn out, and could be replaced. New AC upstairs would be great.

The location could not have been any better! We were able to walk to almost every event.

Thanks Matt. Loved our stay, and would definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants to be close to all in Burlington!

Nice house, great location

  • 4 of 5

Four friends stayed 4 nights in this house. There are lots of beds, although one person found hers to be too hard. The rooms are pleasant but all but one bedroom lack closets or dressers - OK for a few days but inconvenient for a longer stay. The downstairs living, dining and kitchen areas are very comfortable and attractive. The kitchen is well-equipped and convenient to use. Washer, dryer and dishwasher are all excellent. The house is located downtown, very close to activities and restaurants. We found a wonderful farmers' market on Saturday and enjoyed the Church Street pedestrian mall, both a short walk from the house. The shoreline is also close by.

The owner checked to make sure that everything was OK, and his property manager lives nearby and is very responsive to questions and issues.

We would stay here again.
