Half Moon Bay House
This house was very nice. It was big and clean with a large, well equipped kitchen. There were plenty of toys and play space in the house and in the fenced in backyard.
Wonderful Location and Great Home
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights with our four sons. The house is located in a quite neighborhood and is just a short walk to the beach and the bluffs overlooking Half Moon Bay. The sunsets were spectacular from here. There are plenty of grocery stores and shops a short drive away. A little further up the road is the Marina with some great restaurants and shops.
We spent a couple of days in San Francisco and another down in Santa Cruz. Both were easy to get to via a beautiful drive on the PCH.
We found the house itself to be roomy and it had all the comforts you would need. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals there and used the grill out back too. At the front of the house is the kitchen, dining room and living room. There is a hallway behind that connecting the 4 bedrooms and a full bath. The room with the bunk beds is next to the bathroom and the one with the two twins is just down the hall. The 3rd bedroom has it's own bath and the master, which is connected through a den, is very spacious, has a large bathroom and a door out onto the back deck.
If you find yourself in Santa Cruz, check out The Mystery Spot - especially if you have kids. We found it to be a very fun little adventure and well worth the $8 admission.
This house fit our needs and we were very happy with it. We would definitely stay here again. If you go, enjoy your stay!
Perfect place for a quiet family getaway...
Just far enough from the city to have peace and quiet when you need it, and super close to the beautiful coast. Had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay immensely.
A Great Place to Enjoy the Coast in the San Francisco Bay Area
The home is very comfortable with a layout that lends to both individual privacy and getting together as a group. We found it to be much more convenient than staying in hotel rooms. Preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen was fun, and as a result, we enjoyed meals at home much more often than we had expected. The home has a warm feeling. The owners keep the home in great condition and well-stocked with plenty of supplies.
The home is also very well located. It is so close to the ocean that we went to the beach often, taking long walks along the beach and along the bluffs just above the beach.
One of the highlights of our trip was to visit Ano Nuevo State Park about 25 miles south on the coast. We really enjoyed the two-and-a-half hour guided tour to see the elephant seals that come ashore there, primarily between mid-December and mid-March.
A stay at this home would be fun any time of the year.
Would highly recommend this VRBO
Wonderful place with everything supplied you could want or think you might want. Lots of things for kids to do.
Great location and owner
I was here with a few old friends for four days. We were all happy with the location. The house had everything we needed. it is very close to a nice beach with pleasant walking and biking trails. The property owner was very friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to any questions.
Piller Point Harbor is 15 minutes north. Purchase fresh fish and crabs directly from commercial fishermen.
