About the property

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Tropical Bungalow Home With Airy Open Floor Plan

Our recently redecorated home has two bedrooms, both with queen beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite newly updated bathroom with walk in shower, sunken tub and two sinks. The guest bathroom also has been recently refurbished. The open floor plan is ideal for entertaining and the kitchen is fully equipped, with a granite and glass island that seats five. The kitchen is open to both the living room and the TV room. The private back yard is beautifully landscaped, and comfortable chairs and table allow for outside dining. While our home is fantastic, the location is amazing! So close to the beach, to the downtown shops and restaurants as well as to the grocery store and library. The area is ideal for biking and guests can enjoy our two cruiser bicycles.

About Julie Hendrickson

We live in Vermont but have been coming to Naples since 1980! We love outdoor activities especially road biking and walking the beach. Two years ago we rented a house for a month, brought our bicycles down and met lots of other bikers. We discovered there is a major biking culture down here, and Velo Naples is the largest biking club in all of Florida. We now have many wonderful, active friends right in the area.

Julie Hendrickson purchased this house in 2014

Why Julie Hendrickson chose Naples

We knew we wanted to be in Old Naples because everything is so accessible. We did not want to be too close to 5th Avenue because it is very busy with all of the activities there. South of 5th is noisy with airplane traffic. 1st Avenue North is just far enough away from the bustle of 5th, but it is one of three beautifully Mahogany tree lined streets streets in Naples. Plus, we are so close to the beach!

Great house and a perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

This was a great rental property for two golfers in their first trip to Naples. The house has plenty of space, great kitchen and sitting areas and a lovely secluded back garden area.

The location is perfect, only three blocks from the beach and six from 5th Avenue South where there is lots of good dining, shops and bars.

The property is well maintained and in great condition.

The street has the added bonus of being very quiet. Perfect for us and I have no hesitation in recommending the property due to its location and overall quality of accommodation.

Olde Naples at its Best!

  • 5 of 5

This home has been created to provide comfort, beauty and joy to all who enter the welcoming front door. This home exudes warmth throughout as well as providing freshly appointed furnishings and art. The spacious rooms and comfortable sitting areas make your stay soothing and refreshing. The back patio is truly magical! Situated about a 7 minute walk to the beach, right down a gloriously tree lined street is a true delight. We enjoy all that 5th Avenue and Third Street provide, walking distance from this lovely home. Yes, there is much more to say, but we consider ourselves very lucky and we hope to return again!

amazing house

  • 5 of 5

We simply love our stay at this property. Very well-furnished and redecorated. The queen size beds are very comfortable. Spacious bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom. The courtyard is simply beautiful. Very close to the beach: approximately 300 meters. The kitchen is very well equipped. Owner respond quickly to all our requests. Bicycles are provided, offering the possibility to connect rapidly to the beach, stores, and the third street and fifth avenue. Definitively, I would like to rent it again. I highly recommend this property to Vrbo users.

Mark and Donna

Spectacular house nestled on a street lined with mahogany trees. It is within walking or biking distance to the beach. The backyard is large and lush, comfortable for entertaining or viewing nature. The inside of the house is also amazing. It is beautifully decorated, yet open and spacious. The location is superb in the heart of Olde Naples, with easy access to 5th and 3rd street. The owner is extremely gracious and responsive to any of your needs. It was truly a wonderful experience! We are hoping to go again next year.

Relaxing getaway close to beautiful beach

  • 5 of 5

Spent 10 nights in this lovely and spacious house that easily accommodates 4 people. Enjoyed ourselves in the roomy social areas of the house, the well-equipped kitchen, and the nice and private green back yard. We found everything we needed for the stay. The house is even better than on the pictures and we felt at home right away. It is beautifully located on a quiet and calm tree-lined street centrally in Old Naples. Very charming 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach, which runs several miles to both north and south and has a vivid bird life. Also, amazing to see the dolphins at the Naples Pier! We were particularly happy to loan the bikes and Naples is very bike friendly. There is a very good local grocery nearby and an excellent tennis facility 7 blocks away with access for non-members; loaner rackets are available.

We found the host to be professional, friendly, responsive, caring, and generous.

Would love to come back!

Perfect Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just returned from a perfect vacation in Naples. This house has everything that you'll need to make your stay very enjoyable. We really loved the short walk to the beach and 5th Avenue for dinner and drinks. Having the bikes available for our use was a real bonus. Naples really is a bike friendly city! We also spent lots of our time relaxing on the outdoor patio after a day of golfing. The owners were in touch with us during our to make sure we had everything we needed which was a great personal touch. We have already booked another week this year!
