Cypress Villa is a spectacular luxury town home located in The Villas at Coast Cottages, a gated community along St. Simons' widest stretch of beach. Designed by noted architect Keith Summerour, this home offers the ultimate beachside experience for vacationers with discriminating taste.

Enter the walled courtyard and enjoy your own private spa/pool ... perfect for cooling off on a warm summer day, or ask us to heat it up for an exhilarating spa treatment. Park in your own 2-car garage and drop your luggage into the convenient elevator nearby ... perfect for groceries and wobbly knees too! Inside the home you'll experience a rich, comfortable interior filled with exquisite furnishings and beautiful artwork.

First floor: You'll find three lovely guest bedrooms, each with its own full bath. The bedrooms surround a relaxing family room with flat screen TV and plenty of seating. This room provides a second living space away from the main living room ... a great idea when vacationing with multiple generations. Bedroom 1 has two sets of bunk beds ... great for the kids! Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a sumptuous queen bed. All baths are beautifully equipped with marble vanities and quality fixtures. Bedroom 3 and the family room both open to a beautiful balcony overlooking the courtyard.

Second floor: Your favorite part of this home may be the living/dining/kitchen, artfully arranged in an airy, open floor plan. The living area has a flat screen TV and plenty of comfortable seating. It also opens to a breezy balcony overlooking charming Sea Oats Lane. The kitchen is fully equipped and fit for a gourmet cook with granite counters, gas cooktop and over-sized refrigerator. The dining area seats 8 with 3 more seats available at the nearby breakfast bar.

Third floor: the master suite is an experience all its own. Note the angular architectural lines, ship-lap paneling and chair rail. A luxurious king bed awaits your peaceful slumber. The suite also includes a full bath with separate glass shower and garden tub, double vanity, private water closet, and even an office for those who can't leave their work behind. We've even provided a printer for your convenience!

The third floor also has it's own private balcony with an ocean view. Climb the stairs to the roof top deck and experience panoramic views of the ocean, marsh, and a glimpse of the old historic Coast Guard Station nearby. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset to the west, or your morning coffee for an ocean sunrise to the east.

Cypress Villa guests enjoy full privileges at the sparkling Coast Cottages pools, pavilion and beach boardwalk. Ours is the finest beach on St. Simons Island, where you always have a wide stretch of sand, even at high tide. (The same cannot be said for properties south of Arnold Road). And low tide exposes the eastern seaboard's most magnificent sandbar ... stretching the beach to as much as 1/2 mile wide at extreme low tide!

This house was by far our favorite rental! We have been coming to St. Simmons for the past 4 years or so for our girls getaway beach weekends. We loved everything about this house! Very clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated.

Thank you for an amazing stay in St. Simon's Island! This was a beautiful home. We loved all the decks and especially the splash pool. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Also, so nice that you shared beach chairs and miscellaneous toys that we certainly did not have room in our car to bring with us! Again, we had a great time and this was a perfect spot for us. Thanks again!

St. Simons Island is sometimes described as a little piece of paradise. Scarcely known outside Georgia, it is quite possibly the best kept secret along the coastal Southeast. The island's majestic entrance over miles of unspoiled marshland was memorialized by Sidney Lanier in his poem The Marshes of Glynn. It's a place where an unpretentious low country meets the great ocean ... where huge tidal changes breathe life into the grassy expanse flourishing in wildlife. Somewhere in between you will discover the magic of St. Simons Island. Upon arrival, visitors are enveloped by a feeling of calm amidst ancient moss-draped oaks standing alongside glorious palms and tall southern pines. Many miles of bike paths connect a variety of shopping, eating, cultural and recreational areas within the island. There's always something fun and interesting to do. The beach at St. Simons Island is like no other. As the 7-foot tide shifts from high to low, it pulls the shoreline 1/2 mile out to sea uncovering a breathtaking system sandbars and shoals. Development is largely unseen along the north end of the beach where an abundant shrub forest has been protected and allowed to expand naturally. Acres of young dune fields nurture sensitive Sea Oats while thousands of shore birds migrate from one sand bar to the next with the receding tide. The owners and guests of Coast Cottages at St. Simons cherish their unrestricted view and enjoyment of this ecological wonderland. Things to do on St. Simons Island: Kayak through the marsh streams, walk the beach, eat at many great restaurants, climb the lighthouse, golf, tennis, miniature golf, small skate board park, go shopping at many quaint shops, go antique hunting, tour Fort Frederica, tour the Old Coast Guard Station (right next door to Coast Cottages), walk the sandbars at low tide, go skim boarding along the shoreline, take a trolley tour of the island, hang out at the Coast Cottages pool, go to a water park on Jekyll Island, take paddle board lessons, go crabbing or fishing right off the pier.
