Beautiful spacious Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week vacation at this delightful Cottage. It is located steps from the powder beach of Pass-A-Grille or a few short blocks to restaurants.

Everything we needed was supplied plus more than you would expect. Bikes, beach chairs, surf boards, pails & shovels if you want to collect sea shells. The kitchen was just perfect and well equiped with stools to sit at the counter or a dining room table for a full meal.

The cottage is larger and prettier than the pictures suggest. I was so pleased the 1st day I walked through the door to see such an inviting, comfortable decor.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the owners of this property were during our stay. They went out of their way to make sure we had all information about how to get to the cottage from Tampa Airport, to suggestions of where to eat for a special occasion. You won't need a car to get around this amazing community, everything is within walking or biking distance.

This is a little piece of heaven, that has been preserved for anyone who wants a tranquil, relaxing experience.

You won't be disappointed, we weren't!

Plus you might get to swim with a Dolphin, like I did.

Charming, immaculate, relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful, stress-free week in this adorable bungalow right in the middle of it all. Steps to beach, restaurants, pier, and lots of other great things to do. Saw manatees in the surf, found great shells, watched a flock of green parrots, ate great food and explored the area. Super friendly owners provided great information and an easy experience. Will be booking again!

A fan is born....

Never thought Florida was a place I would enjoy but my husband is an ardent birder so where he goes I go and that meant off to Florida to capture ( on film) a reddish egret. My only input was where to stay. I wanted something off the beaten path, something "Old Florida", something quiet. My husband found Island Charmer in Pass a Grille. Perfect home with more than adequate space for him to do his editing at the end of the day's adventure and for me to go hang out in the courtyard or sunroom and read or knit. So peaceful. And when late afternoon came we moseyed down to the beach with our owner provided chairs and beach towels for a swim and a little sun. The beach, by the way, is at one end of this quiet block and the bay is at the other. Easy walk. The Paradise Grill has great food and is a whole three blocks away on the beach. They have a custom of ringing the old Ships Captains bell at sunset. Nice tradition. We also enjoyed "Sea Critters" restaurant. Be sure to eat outside at dusk or later so you can feed the fish that gather in the underwater lights. All the seafood that I cooked was from the little Deli across from the Wharf. A little pricey but delicious. I have been chatting up our new found treasure to all my friends. These owners are delightful and thoughtful and have a most comfortable, well-appointed home. We enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go back next year. Can't say enough good about Island Charmer.

Adorable beach cottage experience!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the beach cottage! It has an adorable beachy and homey feel to it. The beach is half a block away. Having access to beach bikes, beach chairs and an umbrella was a bonus. We would definitely stay there again. Owners were wonderful to work with.

Beach House Escape

  • 5 of 5

We are back to frozen, snow covered Ohio and our short fun time at Passa a Grille seems like a fleeting dream. We wanted you folks to know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely, quaint little Beach House. We compliment you on your decorating and preserving the ambiance of this "old Florida" abode and keeping it part of the overall charm of unique Pass a Grille.
