About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

This cozy hide-away is newly remodeled and decorated in 2015 featuring a stone fireplace, open beamed ceiling, room air conditioner, two-person soaking tub in master bath, wrap-around deck and nicely equipped kitchen. UPDATED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS COMING SOON OF 2015 REMODEL. Located in Sugarloaf, 5 miles east of Big Bear, the cabin is just 10-15 minutes away from the slopes of Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts.

The cabin sits on a fenced triple lot nestled between trees just across from the National Forest. Enjoy hiking, sledding, or cross-country skiing in the forest just a few hundred feet away, skiing on the nearby slopes, or evenings by the fire. The open layout of the cabin provides a perfect atmosphere for a cozy and relaxing get-away.

The interior is professionally remodeled and includes a stone fireplace with gas starter in the open beamed living room. A portable air conditioning (A/C) unit is also available to cool down during those warm summer days. The beautifully designed and spacious master bathroom has a two-person soaking tub and separate shower. The bedroom has a queen bed with a forced air heater to keep you toasty during those cold snowy nights. The living room has a new queen easy to pull out sofa bed to comfortably accommodate additional guests. The half bathroom is conveniently situated off the living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, dishes, wine glasses, coffee grinder and maker, pots and pans, food processor, and everything else you'll need to prepare a gourmet meal. Firewood is not provided.

Adorable cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is a great deal and an adorable little get away! My husband and I stayed two nights here and loved it. We had a question about the fireplace, and received speedy responses from Cheryl. The heat worked amazing and kept us warm our whole stay. There is even a heater in the bathroom to keep it warm. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very useful. I definitely would recommend this cabin.

Cozy and clean

  • 4 of 5

We love staying in this cozy little cabin. It has the privacy that we needed to enjoy a family vacation. The area is quiet and my son enjoyed playing with snow and sledding in the backyard. We will definitely consider going back again and renting this property. We enjoyed the fireplace, the bathtub and the backyard. The only thing I wish was there's no pets allowed for this property because my son is allergic to dogs ando there were some left over dog hair which we managed to ignore and just put a blanket ( we brought our own blankets) over the couch and floor where my son played as well. I highly recommend this place. The bed is firm which we are not used to but that was something we also didn't mind because we love the cabin. Wondering though if maybe the owner can install an alarm for the house for extra protection and safety.

Cute, cozy cabin. Love the fenced yard for our dogs.

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to get a foot of snow on Christmas Eve so by far the backyard was the best part for us. It is sloped so we were able to make a little trail to sled down, it was a lot of fun, for teenagers AND the parents!
