Perfect for multi-families!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay in late June (4 families and 14 people). It is much bigger and nicer than it appears in the pictures and the views (especially sunsets!) are outstanding. The kitchen was very large, well equipped and had lots of extras we have not seen in previous rentals (extra large refrigerator/freezer, warming tray, a stock of commonly needed supplies (spices, oil, sugar, etc)). It was perfect for preparing and serving meals to our large group. In addition to the several bedrooms and beds there were several roll always and air mattresses (along with extra sheets, pillows and blankets) for use. This gives families lots of flexibility. We recommend the home to others looking to stay in the Pagosa Springs area.

In our week stay, we had a great time and went to Durango for the train ride to Silverton (go to Silverton's museum!), to 4 corners and Mesa Verde, to Chimney Rock, to the lookout at 8 mile Mesa, to Creede for UTVing, to waterfalls (Treasure and Piedre), to hike (Piedre River Trail), to rockhound (geodes/agate along cliff base 0.5 miles from Treasure Falls on east 160), to raft (in town), to soak in the hot springs (in town), and to shop (in town). There was no shortage of fun things to do for our various ages (10 to 81) and interests.

A House Perfect for a Family Reunion

  • 4 of 5

The house was large and very comfortable for 18 people. We have rented facilities four times now in various parts of the country and this was the best. The kitchen especially was large and well-equipped. The view of the mountains is spectacular and deer came up right below the windows. The kids land adults both loved all there is to do in the area.
