This house is at 322 South Main in the South Main Arts District--THE most desirable address downtown! Only step out the door for the trolley, or walk the two well lighted blocks to Beale! You can see the intersection of Beale and S. Main from the front door. No dark side streets here!

Remember that the trolley stops at 12 a.m.! Stay where you can WALK back to the house in a great neighborhood!!!!

The property is GATED with a back entrance that takes you directly into a PRIVATE TWO CAR GARAGE on the first of a four-level home. The house has FOUR NEW ORLEANS style GATED patios--THREE facing South Main for your private enjoyment of the streets! This is the friendliest, most fun block in Memphis. There are no unsecured entrances. You will feel very safe and indulged during your stay.

I just bought this house (March 2014)---EVERYTHING in house is brand new! All new paint, new flooring, new appliances!! This house is a mirror image of my other VRBO listing (VRBO 279405). The houses are side by side. Reviews say (about VRBO 279405) 'like living a weekend in the REAL WORLD TV SERIES!!!'

This is a privately owned four level, stand alone TOWNHOUSE-not a condo within a shared building structure-- or an apartment in a hotel complex.

I have WIFI throughout and three TV's. The house is fully stocked with cook and dinnerware. There are FIVE private bedrooms , and an additional sixth sleeping area with 8 beds total.. Two bedrooms have King size beds and two bedrooms have twin beds (4 beds)---the 5th bedroom has a twin bed and is off the guest bedroom on the second floor. This room shuts for privacy. One door goes to bathroom. There is also a queen sofa bed in conversation area off the living room. For a total of EIGHT private area beds. There is a bathroom on each of the three floors. Full baths on the top two floors and there is a half bath on the street level.

NOTE: This house may not be appropriate for individuals with mobility problems due to the fact that all full baths are on the second and third floors.

I ALSO HAVE TWO ADDITIONAL HOUSES next door. Listing 279405 which has Seven sleeping areas including SIX bedrooms, and a queen sleeper sofa in the conversation area off the living room on the main floor with a total NINE beds; and listing 374921, which is 3,000 sq ft with five beds, two living rooms, a huge den, a huge media room and a roof top patio. IF YOU HAVE A LARGE GROUP OR FAMILY GATHERING AND NEED ALL........WILL PROVIDE DISCOUNT FOR RENTAL FOR ALL or more than one.

Great property and perfect location

This was a perfect property for our 3 couple birthday celebration. The house is immaculate. We were able to walk to many of our destinations. There's a market and restaurants right across the street and down the block. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Ideal Memphis Apartment

I'd find it hard to imagine a more ideal location for a short stay in Memphis, located right on rapidly evolving S. Main St. midway between the National Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. For eight of us - including a group of French friends who'd never visited Memphis before - the apartment was lovely, perfectly maintained, comfortable and ideally suited for our time in the city, especially as we arrived and left by train and could easily walk to the apartment from the station. Also within easy walking distance were some great restaurants and bars, not to mention access to the river. Check-in and check-out were super easy. I would certainly stay again if I were to come back to Memphis, and I'm sure my fellow voyagers would too.

Perfect! In the heart of Memphis Attractions.

Our stay was excellent as usual. Great house with all new amenities and appliances. Good cold AC for southern weather! Clean and well maintained.Step out the door and you can walk to any of the downtown attractions. We were treated like family and will be back soon. I could not recommend this location more highly.

Owner's Response: Oh my gosh! This house has NEVER received a bad review!!! I don't get this. This is a newly renovated house two years ago! Everything new in it. Including one new AC unit! This is not an old building. It is about 10 years old. A new build. In the best part of downtown. If there was a problem with the AC, this person could have contacted the manager who is available 24/7. However, there is NO problem with the AC Unit. I am so shocked by this review. I will certainly contact the renter about this. READERS PLEASE NOTE PREVIOUS REVIEWS WHICH ARE 99.9% FIVE STAR REVIEW OF HOW WONDERFUL. PLEASE READ THE 40 RECENT reviews before this person arrived! And, read the reviews of people who will rent following this one!!! SHOCKING REVIEW. This person had no complaints to me or my staff when she checked out. IM WONDERING IF THIS IS FAKE!

Beautiful place, perfect location!

Our stay in Memphis was perfect thanks to the fantastic accommodations in this beautiful rental! The location is perfect for walking to Beale Street and many attractions. The owner, Linda, and Property Manager, Lisa, are very helpful and respond quickly when you have questions. The pictures on the VRBO site are 100% accurate - it is stunning! We also loved The Green Beetle restaurant / pub across the street - very friendly staff and great food. Thank you, Linda and Lisa!!

Tax Rate 14.25%

Standard rate is based on three night rental of 6 occupants. The $300 damage deposit is refunded within 5-7 days if there is no evidence of damage--including smoking. Rental rate is dependent on occupancy. The standard rate from 1-6 occupants is $375 nightly; 7-8 occupants up to $450; 9-10 occupants up to $525; each occupant above 10 is $37.50 each. When I allow a two night weekend rental, I adjust the rate $100 instead of requesting full payment for third night. Winter rates January 4-March 1, are $325 nightly for 6. I am offering a $50 nightly discount Dec 13-March 1 on a three night rental.

100% refund if canceled at least 90 days before arrival date.
