Perfect location, great house
We have for years been searching for the perfect house to come back to and have finally found it. The house is very well kept with a wonderful, easy and comfortable feel and the view of Cape Cod Bay is unbeatable. We are always sad to leave but looking forward to returning.
Best Cape trip yet!
There's a ton to love about this cottage. The views are amazing. The 3 decks offer lots of outdoor options. The kitchen is open, nice, and large. The upstairs rooms are all spacious, including the bathroom. Even the small room with the trundle bed is comfortable and a great option for a 4th bedroom. (Note that the master has a king bed; all the other beds are twins.)
You can't beat this location if you have kids. The beach is sandy and doesn't have sharp, shell-covered rocks like we found further down the beach. The estuary is a quick beach walk away and is great for little explorers. The road is quiet. There's protection from the wind and sun if you need it. And there's plenty of space for families to spread out.
This cottage is well appointed, comfortable, and very easy to live in. We'll come back for years to come.
property is beutiful
we enjoyed our stay very much cant beat the location the home could use some updating nothing serious little things screen door is broken at slider, no gas in the grille, overall we will be back
The best vacation!
Cottage exceeded my expectations from looking at the web pix. Swimming in 70 degree bay water right off lower (of 3) deck at high tide and reading under umbrella on private beach at low tide. The Best!
Comfortable, airy house with all amenities and calm, private bay Beach
This is a 3 bedroom (plus a smaller room with a small bed) house right on the Bay of Wellfleet's Indian Neck. The Kitchen/living room has west-facing windows, allowing for unobstructed views of the water and spectacular sunsets. There are several decks, including one right at the water/beach (depending on the tide) edge. Our family had a wonderful time swimming in the bay, and were able to prepare meals easily in the well appointed kitchen, and the gas grill was extremely convenient. There was more than enough room for our family of 4 to spread out (2 teenagers need space). The house is convenient for the ponds and ocean beaches of Wellfleet, as well as the town. Also convenient to the French bakery/restaurant for all of our bread/pastry needs. it is about 20-30 minutes to Provincetown, so it is easy to pick guests up at the ferry. We had to leave early due to school changes, and our friends were going to come with only bikes for the last 4 days of our lease. Even though they had to cancel, it was good to know that people could stay here without a car. It is a 1-2 hour bike ride from P-Town, and you can also take your bike on the train from Hyannis, if that is your thing, though a car is nice for more exploration. This is the perfect house for us on the Cape. Privacy, room, convenience, water at your feet, and all the comforts of home. It was just really awesome. (If you have young children, it is also good, but you do have to really watch them. That water is inviting at any age, and there are many stairs down to it). The owners were very easy to deal with, and very accommodating. A+++ We will be back!
Beautifully situated beach front home with amazing sunset views
Our family had a wonderful experience with the rental on Indian Neck in Wellfleet. The 2nd floor Master with adjacent room for kids worked perfect for our family of four. 1st floor bedroom allowed us to invite Grandparents to join in our vacation (although in twin beds). All three decks, especially the lower deck, were utilized daily especially during high tide. Low tide allows for long walks and enjoyment of private beach. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. Overall the house has a bit of wear and tear but nothing to stop us from renting again in the future. Owner was very responsive to questions.
Wellfleet's Wonders Wellfleet is located on the narrowest part of Cape Cod and can boast of having both big wave ocean beaches and tranquil bay beaches. Sprinkled in between our shores are delightful clear, freshwater ponds with white sandy bottoms. Sixty-one percent of Wellfleet's land area falls within the unspoiled Cape Cod National Seashore. Wellfleet harbor, homeport to sail boats, powerboats and the commercial and sport fishing fleet is bustling with activity. Our restaurants provide the best and freshest seafood available and we are well known for our oysters. The town has a thriving visual and performing arts community with many galleries and venues to explore. Live music fills the air, and our theater productions are world class. Come join the fun and discover the wonders of Wellfleet!
