Just like 508, this unit can accommodate up to six (6) guests … and if you plan ahead, you can book BOTH units side-by-side if you have a large party of up to 12 guests … just imagine the benefits and convenience! And likewise, if this unit is already booked, please refer to unit 508 for possible scheduling availability.

My wife (Liliana) and I fell in love with this property the moment we set foot on it in March (2013). We weren't even planning on buying a unit here, but after further consideration, we decided that we could exchange our San Diego investment property for one out here on this gorgeous island (which is now our neighboring unit Konea 508) allowing ourselves a 'reason' to visit Maui on a regular basis! When our local friend and realtor recommended we stay at Honua Kai, we took his advice, and as they say ... the rest is history! We are now proud and happy owners of 'Konea twins' … units 506 and 508!

Honua Kai is the first whole ownership development built on Ka'anapali Beach in more than 25 years. From its opening in 2009, Honua Kai has become the latest and finest resort and residential property in West Maui.

Wonderful unit in wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay in Unit 506. Location is ideal - close to elevators for both underground parking and door to outside for accessing pool areas. Nice views from lanai - also very quiet. We liked that we were not overlooking the pool areas. Bathroom was huge. It was nice to have the extra den space, even just for the two of us. Kitchen was well supplied. The cleaners did an excellent job. My only criticism would be that the carpeting is in need of replacement.

An Awesome Condo to Stay

We stayed in #506 for 5 days, and it was fantastic. Everything in the condo has been kept very well. Adequate utensils in the kitchen, a lot of beach toys in the closet too (there was no water bucket when we arrived, so we bought one and left it there for the future renters). It is also very close the some restaurants (Duke's, Fish Market, etc.) and grocery stores (ABC, Times) if you go through the gate between Kai Malina Pkwy and Honoapiilani Park Access Rd. Another thing we liked was the wristband, it just made many things easier. A very nice condo, highly recommend.

Beautiful place!

My family rented both condos #506 and #508 for a week at the end of April and enjoyed our entire stay. Everything from start to finish went smoothly and we had a wonderful time! The only hiccup was the cleaners showed up at 10am on our day of check out and we weren't quite ready since check out was at 11am. We were almost packed so we hustled a bit to get out early and let them come in, no big deal. The staff at the resort are wonderful, extremely helpful and kind. My grandmother was with us and she doesn't get around very well or quickly any more. The staff as well as other guests in the resort were so kind and accommodating to her. I highly recommend both condos, the pride in ownership shows! Duke's is good but expensive. Same with their poolside drinks. The beach toys and misc. items in the condos are a major plus!
