2 Bedroom, 1 Bath With Mountain Views Located On An Urban Organic Micro-farm
Recently remodeled, Flower House is a spacious two bedroom one bath stand alone guest house with a private enclosed side patio and a back yard shaded by a canopy of mature mesquite trees throughout most of the year. The kitchen has all full sized stainless steel appliances including a side-by-side fridge, microwave, dishwasher and oven. The kitchen is fully outfitted with a set of Calphalon cookware, an array of cooking utensils, dinnerware and bar ware, a toaster, tea pot and coffee maker. The refrigerator has filtered water and ice in the door. In fact, all of the water in Flower House is filtered at the tank. The flat cooktop on the travertine island is open to the living room. The island features an eat in bar with room for four. The guest house has travertine in the kitchen, bath and living room with carpet in both of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen pillow-top and ample closet space with a view of the mesquite filled back yard and the mountains beyond. The second bedroom is fitted with a pillow-top twin bed, with a second, full-sized, pull out twin trundle and an office space. It also has it's own door to the back yard. Guests at Flower House have access to private and secure wi-fi, free local and long distance calls and expanded cable (including HBO) on the flat screen HDTV with built-in DVD in the living room. The travertine bathroom has a soaking tub, and a separate closet that holds a full sized stacked washer and dryer.
We are located in mid-town Tucson and central to many attractions. We are 20 minutes from the airport and 3 miles from the U of A. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and conventional grocery stores are nearby as well as many restaurants and two movie theatres. The wide door ways and flat, open floor floor plan of Flower House are able to accommodate a walker or small wheel chair.

Why Lynn Goggans, property manager chose Dodge Flower
We chose the Flower Street property for it's beauty, size and location. It is rare to find such a large property in the heart of Tucson especially one covered in mature mesquite trees and with such spectacular mountain views.

The property was very well furnished, much better than average, good location for us, clean middle class neighborhood, no problems with neighbors, very quite after 7pm or so, nice host, no traffic problems. Had a very serviceable gas grill which we used every evening. Comfortable lawn furniture and furnishings.
Home away from home!
We stayed at Dodge Flower for 4 nights while in Tucson on business. Unfortunately, I was ill during our stay and missed some of our business meetings. The Dodge Flower house was the perfect place to be with all the comforts of home. So nicely decorated, wonderful kitchen and bathroom, everything up to date -- it was perfect. We would definitely stay there again on a future trip to Tucson!
Nicely appointed, great central location
Couldn't be better. The owners/manages left us everything we could possibly need to get started and to enjoy our stay. Very clean, comfortable quiet. Everything worked exactly as it should.
We would definitely stay here again.
Beautifully renovated, comfortable and clean. Absolutely loved this house
Lynn was on the ball with any requested we had. Including bringing us coolers! The house is beautiful. Marble floors and counter tops. REALLY nice pans for cooking. There were cupboards full of every spice you could need and much more. The back yard is huge with seating and a BBQ (which I'm sad we did not have the time to use) . Tons of parking space. We were here exhibit at the gem show so coming back to a rental that felt like home was delightful after a long day at work.
A Good Visit, Again!
Since I had such a positive stay the last time I stayed at this property (April 2015), I decided to book it again for the trip that I had planned with my 2 children. Because we were coming from overseas, and unsure of our arrival date, I let Lynn know, and she was willing to work with me regarding our arrival.
Unfortunately, they suffered some flooding due to heavy rain a few days before our arrival, but the property was cleaned up, and everything dried, so you couldn't tell that they had had some trouble. Lynn communicated well, and since our arrival date was up in the air, we weren't able to stay the first night that we were in Tucson, as they were still cleaning up from the flood. She did make a point to move the trundle bed to the other side of the room for us, so that there wasn't any arguing from my kids, or one kid rolling off the bed onto the other!! Thanks, Lynn!
As the last time that we stayed at the Flower House, the door was open when we arrived, and the kitchen was stocked with some breakfast/dinner essentials, enough to get us through the first day, which was great, given our severe jet lag! The property was immaculate, and we settled in. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was nice and cold, though the cooler in the main areas of the house was not cooling at all. Now, I thought that the cooler wasn't working due to humidity in the air during the Tucson monsoons, so I didn't report it to Lynn. That was my fault.
The property is centrally located, and is a great launching point to different areas of town. We were able to make it to the East side, where family lives, in a 10-15 minute drive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the touches, such as the groceries, the washer/dryer, the backyard, and the grill! Thank you, Lynn, for another great stay at the Flower House, and we look forward to seeing you again!
I loved it!
This property is So nice. I especially liked the little patio in a fenced in back yard. There is also a patio on the right side with a table & grill. Also, It proved to be a great location for me. There is a Trader Joes a few blocks away as well as other stores and restaurants. The property owner was one of the nicest persons I've ever met. If I ever go back to Tucson I will make sure to stay in the Fliwer House again.
