My family of five had the best vacation we have ever had. We were unsure of what to expect driving to Gatlinburg with compassionate hearts for the community following the devastating fire. As the city recovers, we found our vacation to be absolutely tremendous. Our cabin was the best cabin possible. Tremendous cabin with a beautiful view. Beautiful wood, gorgeous Hollies surrounding the cabin, stunning view of the smokies, and all that we could ask for. We loved the kitchen, the rooms, the pull outs, the deck, the campfire, and the driveway area. The kitchen was perfect for our meals - breakfasts and Christmas dinner. We used the driveway area for some classic street football games. We enjoyed darts and played tons of pool; actually, we played 17 bracket tournaments to be exact (My son won 6 and was declared Ultimate Champion). We loved the hot tub which was a nice addition as a first time for our three kids. The Cabin was nicely positioned and close enough to all of the areas that we wanted to visit - Dollywood, horse back riding, Aquarium and other downtown Gatlinburg features, Pigeon Forge, and lots of great hikes. We enjoyed both the "quiet hikes" as well as Lauren Falls. We cannot wait to return and hope to stay at Holly Hill. Customer Service (Anthony) is terrific. I can't say enough good things about the best vacation our family has ever had. God bless!
Holly Hill is a wonderful cabin, with a great location only a few minutes from the park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Have visited the area many times in the past but this is our new favorite place. The layout of the cabin was perfect and it has everything you need for a fantastic stay. Owners are easy to contact and work with. I would highly recommend this property and hope to be able to stay there again!
Would definitely like to stay there again in the future.
My family loved this cabin! We had such a great time. would definitely return and recommend to friends. We were a party of four, 2 couples. the cabin was perfect ! we had our separate space. The location is unbeatable! Right in between 2 towns, not much driving at all. We would drive into town and see all the traffic from the opposite direction...so happy we didnt have to sit in that! I loved sitting on the back porch while the sun was setting, so serene. Fall time is the best, with all the changing colors. We relaxed and played pool, got in the jacuzzi, played darts, and watched tv. Kitchen was well stocked. Towels smelled great! Plenty of parking, and outdoor space. We highly recommend a bonfire!
Beautiful place with an abundance of warmth and charm. It was hard to leave.
5 Guests: my husband, our infant, me, & my in-laws
Length of stay: a week
We arrived after dark so we didn't see our winding scenic drive in until the next day. The setting is a community of charming, rustic and sometimes whimsical cabins, many of which seemed available as getaways. We felt secluded at Holly Hill, which was perfect.
We fit a pack 'n play in our room with some rearranging, but for older kids, the bottom floor would be perfect. Having separate baths was a perk.
We fixed breakfast all but the first and departure days. We cooked dinner and grilled out several evenings. We enjoyed the pool table every evening, but only used the hot tub once.
We had a couple of issues which did not cause much inconvenience and Anthony took care of them promptly and was very responsive.
We took the back way into Gatlinburg some to avoid the Rod Run traffic. We spent time in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge/Sevierville and went down to Bryson City, NC for the Great Smoky Mt Railroad and over to Asheville, NC for the Biltmore Estate.
Great location with access to beautiful scenery, attractions and touristy shopping. You could easily spend 2 weeks here.
We preferred Holly Hill to staying in a busy, noisy hotel or condo. We enjoyed having our own space to unwind in the evenings.
