Cozy and well supplied

  • 4 of 5

Barbara is what makes this property. It's on a very loud very busy street, but quiet at night and the large back yard kept our dog and 3 year old away from the street. The house is older and smelled, especially the basement. The basement smelled very bad. Though I suspect it was from the terminex treatment which must have taken place right before we arrived. We aired it out the first night, which helped a lot upstairs and a little in the basement. In the end, we had a great time because Barbara made sure there is plenty to keep you occupied. A bond fire. A grill. Ping pong table. Airhockey. Cable. DVD's. Every kitchen gadget you may need. And the house is clean, with plenty of fresh towels, clean beds, etx. A large dining room table which seats 8 or more comfortably. Also, not far from all the main attractions. Barbara is very responsive to questions and attentive to your needs (check in/check out time). We would recommend it. Thank you, Barbara, we enjoyed our trip and felt very comfortable and at home.

Great Location, Great Family Experience

  • 5 of 5

An ideal location for enjoying the Laurel Highlands, with comfortable access to Ohiopyle, Idlewild, 7 Springs, Hidden Valley, Ligonier, Latrobe, Somerset and more. Plus, there's lots for the whole family to do, with games in the basement, a mini-amusement park just up the road and Living Treasures just minutes away. The house is furnished with everything you need --- lots of sheets, towels and kitchen utensils. And the owner is very helpful and accommodating. A great site for a summer getaway!!

Phenomenal Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

Amazing property. This was the first time my family and I have used Homeway. The house was phenomenal and Barb is a great host. Well equipped/stocked with almost anything you could need and then some. Nice area. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it (6 of us).

Wonderful, easy stay.

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I enjoyed our time at the house very much. Check in and check out were extremely easy, and the owner was very responsive to all questions ahead of time. We appreciated that the towels and linens were provided.

The house is really easy to find, and there's a nice mini-golf course that you can walk to that's well worth visiting.

Thomas Kincade Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Everything was just as described in the listing and the setting is wonderful for traveling around the area. Various small stores to get needed things and close to many activities. We wished we could have explored more of the local parks, but there wasn't enough time. This house was a great place to be able to come back to and kept the children busy and happy. They loved the house and it made our trip possible. Thank you!
