A perfect month in a great location!!!

  • 5 of 5

We spent the month of July in this lovely condo and we did not want to leave! The condo is in a perfect location , within the city walls, for enjoying everything that Quebec offers - great restaurants, great historical attractions, the waterfront, the vibrant street scene with music and entertainers everywhere! We were impressed with how clean and how safe the city is. We did not have a car and did not need one; everything is so close; we really enjoyed walking everywhere.

We loved that the condo was furnished so comfortably and is exactly as described. It is rare to see such thought put into the furnishings in a rental. We especially loved having two sofas in the living room, two dressers in the bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV, Wi-Fi and a washer and dryer! Nothing was lacking, the owners thought of everything to make you feel at home. The beautiful large windows provided lots of light and fresh air and we enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages across the street during the day and the National Assembly and city lights at night.

We are happy there is a 30 day minimum to rent the condo; it really allowed us time to "live like locals". We would not hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return!

Jacques, Merci beacoup encore une fois!

Location, location, location! Great apartment within walking distance of everything. Parking can be a challenge but you can get a one month parking pass at Stationnement D'Youville which is a two minute walk away. Would definitely rent this apartment again.

No hesitation recommending.

Great location, wonderful city, excellent eating.

We were fully entertained for a month exploring this walking city and the region, enjoying the parks and museums, the boucheries, patisseries, épiceries, etc., and the Old Port market.

We were made very welcome by our host, the apartment has character and is comfortable and is perfect to enjoy being part of the atmosphere of this historic city.

We’ll be back.

Fabulous location!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this flat in a fabulous location in the old city, opposite a park and within walking distance of all the sites. Odette was a great host and was always happy to address any issues we had.

Owner's Response: Linda, Tony and their 10 year old son were very courteous and quiet and a pleasure to host throughout their one month stay. They also left the condo very tidy, even washed the linen when, of course, they didn't have to. I wish them happy travellings!

Four Thumbs Up!

  • 5 of 5

To escape the Florida heat, my husband and I rented this apartment for a month and were delighted. The location was fantastic (just inside the Old Quebec City walls, across the street from a park where horse carriages gather, view of The Parliament Building). Quiet location (except for the romantic horse clip-clops echoing down the street). Steps away from either the bustling tourist area or the shopping and dining areas for locals—your choice. Very short walk to beautiful Plains of Abraham (Battlefield Park). The apartment itself is spacious, full of light, and has its own washer/dryer. Parking was easy in D’Youville parking garage (monthly rate). Odette was friendly and extremely helpful in meeting our unusual requests. Four thumbs up!

Spacious and authentic condo in the hart of Quebec City

  • 5 of 5

I have spent the whole summer in this lovely condo. The condo is spacious and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It is neatly furnished and has a very authentic feel to it.

The best part of it all: it is really in the hart of old Quebec City. I did not have a car during my stay, but this was really no problem at all. From your window, you can see the fortifications of the old town. Within seconds, you walk right into Rue Saint Jean—with all its little shops and nice restaurants and bars. Moreover, it is minutes away from all the major tourist attractions, such as the parliament, chateau Frontenac and Place-Royale.

I was kindly hosted by the owner of the condo, who always quickly answered any questions/requests I had—be it regarding the condo or Quebec city.

If I have the chance to come back to lovely Quebec City, I will and will definitely stay in this condo.
