Toula Siacotos purchased this house in 2004
I love living here. The community offers a simple, relaxed environment, while being close to everything, San Francisco, The Wine Country, etc. The home is quite lovely, with 180 degrees of unobstructed views of the San Francisco Bay, S. F. Marin, etc.
The views are breathtaking; the environment open, spaces, extremely comfortable.
Toula has a beautiful home that has fantastic views of the SF bay area. Her home is listed as a 3 bedroom, but it is not. Upon arrival, we found that one of the "bedrooms" is an office with a sofa bed and a blow-up mattress. the air mattress was on the floor. This was disappointing for our guest and for us as we felt misled. It appeared that the owner lived there and had quickly done a surface cleaning of the house. In fact, in the master bathroom, there was a tissue with shavings from her eyeliner pencil sitting on the bathroom counter. When we rented the home, Toula required me to purchase an additional insurance policy as well as giving her a security deposit and a cleaning fee. The night before we left, I called Toula, left a message, emailed and texted her for any special instructions on how she would like us to leave her house. NO response. We stripped the sheets and put them in the laundry room, started the dishwasher and wiped down counters and straightened things up. After 7 days of no response, as to when we would receive our deposit back, we finally heard from the insurance company. Toula had filed a claim regarding the sofa bed. Apparently, our guest had put the bed back in wrong? I still don't understand this, but Toula said she had to call someone to help her get it out. She filed a $75 claim and later that week we received our full deposit. The insurance paid the claim. She was difficult and not willing to speak with us. Stay at your own risk.
Beautiful home with terrific views of the bay. Had all the amenities we needed to make it very nice vacation.
Hi Toula we just wanted to say that we had a great break and really enjoyed the property, so a Big Thank You from us all :-)
We had a great time on our vacation and staying in this lovely home was a bonus! The home has a great set up and is very comfortable. The views from the deck were spectacular and we couldn't have been more pleased with the location. The property is close to BART & the Larkspur ferry to get into the city. The drive to the Golden Gate was only about 30 minutes and getting to the wine country was very easy. The little downtown area had great places to eat and do a little shopping. We would definitely rent this property again.
Great family home on a quite hill. Beautiful and the home was fully stocked with all that we needed. Relaxing time for me and my family.
This getaway was perfect for our needs for a group to attend my granddaughter's graduation from Berkeley. The views were wonderful and the house beautiful. I would hesitate having toddlers and any children under 7 or 8 - only because the house has many beautiful things that I would not want destroyed if I were either the owner or the renter. I would certainly return in the future. The town and restaurants are great. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!
The home & area is quiet & relaxing. The town offers several good restaurants, live theater, a small cinema, concerts, art galleries, swimming in the 'plunge', walking, hiking, sailing. It's close to the Napa/Sonoma Wine Country, U.C. Berkeley, Sausalito, Tiburon. The water view & S.F. is unparalleled.
