Denver/Littleton, CO – Fully furnished Town Home 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, beautifully decorated ten year old town home at W. Bowles Ave. and S. Santa Fe Dr, across from 'Old Town Littleton'. Three story town home with a large 2 car tandem garage on the first level, living room, dinning room and large country kitchen on the second floor and two large bedrooms, king beds in each bedroom (sleeps 5 to 6 persons) and an 'L' shape sofa in the living room (NOT a Sofa bed, will accommodates two children or small adults or one large adult) and two baths on the third floor, all linens and towels provided. Non smokers only! Small dog negotiable. Owner offers his Vacation home for guest on a short or long term agreement or as Guests of the Owner for short visits. Ideal for executive short term, in between home buyers, vacationers, medical procedures, etc. Light rail several blocks away in 'Old Town Littleton', 20 minutes by car to down town Denver, 15 minutes to Denver Tech Center and 45 minutes to DIA. Weekly visits will be considered in the spring and fall if requested in the month prior to requesting dates; email for quote and availability. Less than 30 nights, 5% tax added. Accept check, cash, money order and PayPal (add 3%).

About Jim Akin

Jane and I are retired after managing an upscale condo community in Vail Colorado for 12 years. My career experience was in computer sales and management while Jane's career was in real estate and home construction. We currently live in Evergreen, CO, a mountain bedroom community 20 miles west of Denver. While we lived in Vail, this was literally our Denver "town home". It has always been a vacation rental between our occasional visits from Vail. Since our retirement is now a full time vacation rental providing a comfortable home for families visiting the Denver area.

Why Jim Akin chose Littleton

Ideally located 10 miles due south of the center of Denver with easy access to freeways and shopping. With a light rail station only a few blocks away, you can be in the center of the city, to all the ball parks and the Elitch Garden theme park in 20 minutes with no down town parking issues. Located only 15 minutes away from the Denver Tech Center. A small water park is several blocks away and withing a few miles there are three public golf courses; Riverwalk is situated in the middle of the LIttleton Golf Course; walk to the first tee. My wife has professional decorated this town home to make it your home away from home.

Perfect Spot!

My husband and I recently visited his brother in CO, and happened up this listing and I'm so glad I did! It was the perfect location for us. Being in Littleton, we were able to easily get to everything we wanted and needed. The house is huge - huge garage, large living room and kitchen, and two perfectly sized bedrooms. The two bathrooms was also a plus! We loved to sit on the little patio and hang out at all hours (the weather was PERFECT). Kitchen had everything we could possibly need and then some. Jim was super responsive to all inquiries, and willing to work with us to meet our needs. Easy in and easy out! Loved it - will definitely stay here again. Beds were SUPER comfy, everything was clean and tidy. Overall - really great stay!

Also - if you stay here, less than five minutes away is a little breakfast spot called Toast - EAT THERE. It is INCREDIBLY delicious, and TOTALLY worth the stop!!!!!

Owner's Response: In addition to Toast, you must try The Egg and I, in the strip center across from the entrance to Riverwalk. Also for Mexican and burgers and outside padio is the Platt River Grill on Santa Fe Drive.

Home away from home

This was our first trip to Denver and we were unsure where to stay. Littleton is a perfect area for exploring the sites of Denver. We packed a lot into each day then came back to very comfortable, private townhouse to relax and plan the next day's activities. The large sectional couch gave my husband and I both room to stretch out. The private garage meant never having to look for a parking place.The kitchen was well equipped to cook complete meals, or just a quick snack. Shopping is close by and several restaurants a short drive away. We found a groupon for Jack and Grills, almost within walking distant, with excellent burgers. The weekly rate is very reasonable, and the option to do some or all of the cleaning meant extra savings for us. We will definitely stay here again.

Centrally Located Gem

My family and I stayed at Jim's town home for a week, while my boys attended a football camp in Highlands Ranch. The location was convenient and the home was comfortable and well stocked. My boys enjoyed the Club House swimming pool (easily within walking distance) each afternoon after football camp. Jim was very responsive to any inquiries and made himself available (not that we needed him) during our stay. I would recommend Jim and Jane's town home to family and friends.

Perfect home away from home!

We stayed in this town home for 3.5 weeks in April and May. It suited our needs just perfectly and was located in a fairly central spot four sight seeing and spending time with our kids and grandkids. Spacious, yet cozy, great for us and family members. The walking/ bike trail is right outside the front door.

We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for us . . .

My husband and I arranged to stay in Jim & Jane's lovely condo for an extended stay in Denver for the month of January to visit our daughter and her family. We have stayed in a couple of other places, but this is our favorite. It fit our needs perfectly, as our other daughter was able to visit and have a comfortable room, too. They have truly gone the extra mile to comfortably furnish their home and provide everything you would ever need in a kitchen. We lacked for nothing. Their gracious hospitality was wonderful ... we will definitely return. We cannot recommend it any more highly.

Home away from home , Christmas 2015

My husband and I traveled from Minnesota to Colorado to spend Christmas week with family living in the Denver metro area. It was wonderful to return to a quiet house after spending time with the grandchildren! The condo was very comfortable and conveniently located to grocery stores and downtown Littleton...the city of Littleton does a wonderful job transforming the downtown area into a winter wonderland.

Having the attached garage at our disposal was a real treat; we didn't have to worry about brushing snow off of our truck. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. It was so nice to have 2 full bathrooms!

Jim was wonderful to coordinate with..very quick to respond with access instructions.

Weekly visits will be considered 4 to 6 weeks prior to your requesting dates; email for a quote and availability. June, July and August we prefer monthly visits or weekly visit week end to week end. In the summer we have a minimum 7 night charge for visits 5 to 7 nights. We do not accept guest visits for less than 5 nights year around. Extended guest visits beyond 30 days will be discounted. 5% Taxes are included in rate quoted for Guest Visits of less than 30 days. There are no sales taxes on Guest Visits longer than 30 days. A reservation deposit (which becomes your damage/cleaning deposit) of $200 for weekly visits and $600 for monthly visits is due upon confirming the reservation. The Guest Visit Costs is due 30 to 60 days in advance of your arrival date depending on the season.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
