About Pam & Steve Gannon
Pam & Steve Gannon lived in Grant Park for 10 years - moved away - and have now come back. We love the old homes and being closer to the city. We live in the front house that shares an address with Hideaway House and as such are available to our guests 24/7.
Pam & Steve Gannon purchased this House in 2014
Why Pam & Steve Gannon chose Grant Park
We recently bought the property from Rose & Brian Wilson - they owned the property for 2 years. Prior to the Wilson's, Hideaway House was owned by the same family since it was built in 1920. Hideaway House is a special home with lists of charm and character, which is evident as soon as you walk through the front door.
What makes this House unique
Hideaway House sits at the end of a residential street and on top of a hill that overlooks the historic Roosevelt High School Building, a beautiful Neo-Byzantine structure that has been converted to an apartment complex. Hideaway House is shaded by an enormous oak tree that is breathtakingly beautiful, particularly when the setting sun casts a rosy glow off its many branches.

Has it all!!!
Location, location, location!!!! We rented this property for a sort of staycation since we live outside of Atlanta and we were showing a friend from out of state Atlanta. First of all, the house is amazing. I want to live there! It has modern upgrades but still maintains a lot of the original character of an older home that I love in the city. It is literally 15 minutes or less away from all of the major attractions. We had the privacy and quiet evenings while being just a few minutes away from the centennial park area, zoo, high museum, botanical gardens, and many others. We were also close to grocery stores and restaurants. I was able to briefly meet the lovely couple who own the property, but we had no issues and didn't need to bother them. If you are looking for a place to stay in Atlanta, you should pick here. Absolutely no complaints. Easy directions to access the WiFi and cable for our rainy nights in. Nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, and full kitchen. (Plus a lot more) We couldn't have been more pleased with where we chose to stay.
Well I’m not sure we could get a better review. Thank you so much- we are happy you enjoyed. Please come back and see us.

Great location and very quiet and private.
Great location for the activities we had planned at the zoo and the aquarium, short drives from house. Met Steve, was very nice. Enjoyed having comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, thermostat we control, bottled water, washer and dryer, a parking spot close to the door, and fenced yard for our pugs. Since I used to work in construction, I can say whoever did the remodel, had to fall in love with the character of the old house, but had definite challenges and was able to create a very detailed urban chic vibe. House is very inviting and comfortable. We hope to rent it again in the future, thanks for letting us stay in your home.
Comfortable and relaxing
Everything that was needed was within arms reach. If anything was needed Steve was there immediately. The home is very spacious and bright. We, with our two little dogs, enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone. Pam is very helpful in recommending excellent eating establishments and places of interest to visit. Next time we are in Atlanta we will stay at Hideaway House.
Thanks Pam and Steve
Nice location, all the comforts of home.
We did not need anything, but the owners are at the house in front, so they would be able to help. Great people.
Glad you had a good time- come back soon.
Great location for access to the golf course at East Lake to watch Tiger Woods win again!
Loved the location; fenced yard; layout of home for two couples; comfy beds and very quiet environment. Abit short on amenities.
As with last time this little house is perfect. There was no trouble at all with anything. Steve and Pam are awesome and so are their sweet greyhounds. We were there for Dragoncon again and had a few friends with us. We found it easy to navigate to the Marta and back home. There is a Krogers just around the corner and down the street. A great little restaurant called Vickary's near Krogers that is a must try. Everyone was happy and all was good. Thanks again!
You guys are just fun! Come back every year so we can see your costumes!
