Teton river four miles away is teeming with native
Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brown trout as well as plenty of Whitefish. Kayaks, canoes and inflatables available for rent in town as are mountain bikes and stand up paddle boards.
During the summer, Grand Targhee ski area turns in to a mountain bike paradise using the ski lift for ascent up the mountain and numerous trails of all levels for the ride down. They also have zip lines, climbing walls and horse back riding.
We live in Southern California, we fell in love with this area . Enjoy the seasons and majestic views of the Tetons.

We love the spaciousness of the property, of our 3 acres surrounded by 10 other acres of vacant land. The property is surrounded by mature trees, level ground, nearby seasonal creek. The house itself is spacious with 4785 sq. feet. Views from every window.

We absolutely loved our time at Tarheel Vista! It is the perfect family vacation spot. The home is lovely and equipped with everything you need during your stay. We loved the mountain stream that flows through the property and it provided hours of joy to our grandchildren and family.

We had a large family reunion (34 people), and this was one of the homes we rented. It ended up being the gathering place for everyone because of the space, proximity to town, and large front yard where all the kids played. The views are beautiful, and the home has multiple areas for gatherings. I would love to stay here again!
Our family of 9 had a wonderful week of hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding and all things "outdoorsy" . It was wonderful to have such a comfortable and beautiful place to come back to each evening after a long day of strenuous play. The house is in a really good location for reaching all nearby attractions. The spacious house is tastefully decorated and has everything one could possibly need . The kitchen is a cook's dream , and we had skilled cooks who appreciated all the conveniences, especially 2 of everything. The fire pit was a nice bonus, and we had many nights of stargazing and story telling. This is a fabulous place for a family or for several friends to have a perfect getaway.
Beautiful spacious, cozy home, well maintained, with ample room for our entire family, The local manager was very responsive to our needs, with prompt, friendly service. The large fireplace provided a warm focal point around which to gather the entire family in the large living room. There was plenty of snow in the yard to create snowmen and igloos! Great snow and uncrowded skiing at Grand Targhee was only 20 min away by car. The kitchen and dining areas are spacious and every cooking utensil needed was present and of good quality. The talking deer mount in the kitchen area was a nice touch, but it actually terrified one of our two year old grandsons who would step foot back in the kitchen until we covered it with a sheet.!! The overabundant light switches are a bit confusing throughout the entire home. ( I am think the electrician was paid by the number of switches installed). The Teton Valley has gorgeous vistas. The endless fields of snow provide a serene foreground to the majestic Teton peaks. The Town of Driggs remains quaint, with all the shopping amenities one would need, The town seems to hold fast to its small town roots in spite of the influx of outsiders spurred on by the year round outdoor recreation opportunities. If you arrive on Saturday, be sure to do your grocery shopping on arrival, as the local grocery store honors Sunday as a day of rest by closing.
Stay on the quiet side of the Tetons in Beautiful Teton Valley Idaho. Great proximity to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
