The Cottage on Norris, Unit 'B' is our third VRBO property in St Marys. You will find our first St. Marys rental property listed in VRBO (Listing #460117) as 'The Green House Cottage'...a few blocks from this property. This unit, what we call Unit 'B' is the back unit of this 2-unit property. The Cottages on Norris have been updated affording our guests with a clean and well equipped vacation rental. We are always committed to providing a tastefully decorated 'home away from home' for our valued guests.

The Cottage on Norris, Unit 'B' is in the Historic District of St. Marys and only a few blocks from the centerpiece of St. Marys, the Gilman Waterfront Park just next to the National Park Service office where you board the ferry to venture to beautiful Cumberland Island. We suggest you visit:

But, the lens coupled with our use of mirrors in the cottage would lead the viewer of the cottage to believe that the cottage is larger than it actually is. Simply put, the cottage is a very comfortable and cozy 640 square foot unit.

We know that cleanliness is extremely important to folks renting VRBO properties. Like our other VRBO properties, we place as a number one priority that you will find this unit to meet our rigid standards. Finally, a VRBO is in effect a home. This cottage is in pristeen condition, and the owner has thought of everything for you and your pup, if you have one. The gated area is secure for little ones and features a lovely lighted outdoor grilling and dining area, as well as a covered porch with rockers. There is no additional charge for your pup, the TV has a good selection of channels, beds are comfortable, kitchen is equipped with both plastic and glass dinnerware and glassware, and the decor is bright and cheery, like you're at the beach! My hubby and I, and our little dog Julep, could not have asked for more. Additionally, the owner Tom, is very good at communicating with guests and providing information to assist you in your stay. 5 Stars!

Quite and restful getaway

Great location for adults and little ones. Wonderful outside covered deck with benches and rocking chairs. Very cute place and great responsive owner that lives near by. Fit my needs perfectly! And is located in a very safe, friendly neighborhood.

Couldn't have been more pleased!

This little cottage was absolutely perfect for our girls' getaway, 2 adults and a 5yo. My daughter lives in Florida and I live in SC, so we planned to meet somewhere in the middle. So pleased to have found this property on HomeAway, almost exactly halfway for each of us!

The outdoor areas were well outfitted with benches, rockers, a gas grill (though we didn't use it) and an outdoor table with umbrella. We were impressed that everything necessary was there but without cluttering the small space. Even found bandaids for a small mishap!

The beds were very comfortable, the bed and bath linens all fresh and of good quality. Stacking washer and dryer, should we have needed them.

We really appreciated the "little things" about this cottage. Night lights scattered about, charming timer-controlled outdoor lighting, excellent wi fi, availability of two nice bikes complete with helmets and locks, and an umbrella, just in case!

Tom was an excellent host, responding very quickly and knowledgeably about the property and the area.

We are already hoping for a fall trip when we can enjoy the steam engine train. We can't wait to return!

Good things come in small packages

Although small the cottage B on Norris Street met all of our needs. Tom and Beverly do a great job at making sure you have everything you may want,need for your stay! From the kitchens ,to the bathroom and even the outside. We will definitely be back!

A cozy, charming and quaint cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Cottage on Norris Street unit B. Everything in the cottage was nice, neat and clean. Tom was very informative with details regarding check in / out. He made the process very easy. We would definitely stay there again. I already recommended it to my parents who like to visit the area.

Wonderful stay!!

This cottage was perfect for my family of 4. My 2 girls ages 5 and 2 loved the twin beds with the Disney pictures on the wall! We met some friends with their boat just down the road at the boat launch and spent the day on Cumberland Island, we had such a wonderful time. We also enjoyed the park on the water. We will definitely be back!
