The Cottage on Norris, Unit 'B' is our third VRBO property in St Marys. You will find our first St. Marys rental property listed in VRBO (Listing #460117) as 'The Green House Cottage'...a few blocks from this property. This unit, what we call Unit 'B' is the back unit of this 2-unit property. The Cottages on Norris have been updated affording our guests with a clean and well equipped vacation rental. We are always committed to providing a tastefully decorated 'home away from home' for our valued guests.

The Cottage on Norris, Unit 'B' is in the Historic District of St. Marys and only a few blocks from the centerpiece of St. Marys, the Gilman Waterfront Park just next to the National Park Service office where you board the ferry to venture to beautiful Cumberland Island. We suggest you visit:

My wife is a photographer and used her wide-angle lens to take the photos of the property. Using the wide-angle lens affords the opportunity to give you great pictures of the cottage. But, the lens coupled with our use of mirrors in the cottage would lead the viewer of the cottage to believe that the cottage is larger than it actually is. Simply put, the cottage is a very comfortable and cozy 640 square foot unit.

We know that cleanliness is extremely important to folks renting VRBO properties. Like our other VRBO properties, we place as a number one priority that you will find this unit to meet our rigid standards. Finally, a VRBO is in effect a home. Accordingly, our VRBO units are well stocked with just about every thing you will need to make the unit 'your home away from home' throughout your stay.

Great place to stay

This is a great place to stay it is very quiet and close to downtown. We spent a day at Cumberland Island and a day at Jekyll Island, both were beautiful. We went up town in the evenings and had a lot of fun. Would highly recommend this property.

Cute cottage! Close to Waterfront.

My daughter and I had a girls weekend off and decided to go to Cumberland Island National Park. This adorable cottage was just perfect for our weekend. It was very comfortable and private. The owner was very helpful and gave me some valuable tips for planning our trip to the island. We found a fabulous restaurant within bike riding distance called “The Red Moose” You’ve gotta try the Huckleberry Tea! We had a quick but enjoyable trip and would recommend this jem tucked away in St. Mary’s to anyone looking to relax and get away from the city. Thanks Tom for accommodating us with our stay. :)

Fabulous!

Photographed and discribed well also very clean. This was the first time I have ever rented a home and not stayed in a hotel. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. I liked receiving greeting and before you go texts and reminders! The only thing that could be seen as negative is this is an attached cottage, I did worry that my baby would be keeping the other renters awake at night. Also, since it is in a neighborhood I had to remind my other two children to keep it down at night, as we might be on vacation but the neighbors are not and we don’t want to bother them. One thing that I think would be a joy to have in the cottage are some coffee table books about the surrounding local area. The VRBO site was easy to work with and my deposit was returned promptly. Lovely and fabulous stay thank you!

Cozy comfort!

Charming unit in lovely neighborhood. Great location for visiting Cumberland Island, Amelia Island and Jekyll Island. We did them all! The unit is well equipped with everything you need. There were 2 bikes provided and we used them for evening rides through the Spanish moss covered tree lined streets. Beautiful! We had to extend our stay and had no trouble arranging this with Tom. He was excellent to deal with. Fantastic stay overall.
