Our family loved our summer vacation. The house is fantastic and Peggy is a wonderful person with whom to work. The house is comfortable, in a great location and very clean. We loved the backyard oasis and the outdoor shower. It really added space and charm to the home.

We loved our stay! Cozy and perfectly located. Quiet street an easy bike ride from everything. All eight of us slept comfortably and enjoyed our dinners in the wonderful backyard.

A Majestic Get Away

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing weekend we had in our home away from home. Every detail in this house was beyond our wildest dreams. We were in awe of the decorating all weekend as we constantly noticed different little touches. The beds and linens were so comfortable! It was hard to get out of bed! When we cooked and barbecued dinner, it was so easy because everything we needed was right there at our fingertips! It was nice a nice touch to have wi-fi as well. Our group of 6 had plenty of room, with the 14 year old enjoying sleeping in the basement to be near the TV with the plentiful movie selection (Caddyshack was his favorite!)

We enjoyed touring the island and the many sights to see. Downtown San Diego was just a ferry ride away. We loved our meals at Miguel's, High Tide pizza and ice cream at Cold Stone!

Thank you so much for your hospitality and the absolute dream weekend!!

Sister's Retreat was a fantastic experience! We arrived at different times, some flew and some drove, but equally easy to find the houses, either by driving or flying. The houses look like the pictures and we took advantage of sharing both the houses between six sisters. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchens and baths were well equipped. The weather was mostly beautiful, but even the night it rained added to the enjoyment. We have a few workshops with a local author on the joys of journal writing for a group which was enlightening. Some sisters walked around the neighborhoods appreciating the unique landscapes and foliage. We found there were plenty of shops and restaurants and some or all of us, took part in some local yoga classes, beach walks, and sitting in the backyards reading books. Very relaxing and I'd refer this vacation spot to friends.
