About Teresa Reich
We are a family of six who love the beach! Fifteen years ago, we bought a sailboat and took our kids sailing in the Caribbean for a year. The experience was priceless on many levels! We brought home a love for warm oceans and boats and all things nautical.
Teresa Reich purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Teresa Reich chose Lincoln City
Location, location, location! Captain's Quarters has the exploding horizon of sand and surf, which is always interesting, no matter the weather. No more beachfront is being made, so this unique cliffside condo with a fabulous view is a treasure to us.
What makes this Condo unique
Since it is perched on the low sea cliff, we can enjoy winter storms and balmy summer breezes in the condo. Or campfires and long walks on the beach. An oceanfront condo with a fireplace is the best place to be in the world!

The family could play in the sand while i watched whales drinking morning coffee from the porch. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved the place. Only issue was the toilet seat was broken. But so much fun.
Great place only issues were no coffee filters or dishwasher soap.
Great view. Loved the location. Clean and relaxing. May bring a blow up mattress for hideaway mattress. Pretty stiff and stained. But everything else was great! Thank you!
Thank you for your review. We will look for a foam mattress topper for the sofa bed, and ask our housekeeper to shampoo the mattress.
A great stay, beautiful unit, amazing views
A very pleasant stay! The unit is extremely well appointed, although we did not do much cooking, for those who would just about everything needed is included. The unit is clean, beds comfortable and the location and the view are excellent. Would not hesitate to stay here again and certainly recommend it to anyone planning to visit this area.
Loved! Loved! Loved! this place. What a view! Enjoyed coffee by the window in recliner and watched the sun, moon and stars!
Teresa was so helpful and informative! Will be making this our "go to place" at the beach!
Captains Quarters is in the upscale Oceanlake Historic District, conveniently located close to a ramp to actually drive onto the beach sand! The Chinook Winds Casino and Convention Center is just 2 miles north, with an indoor golf resort, seafood dining, concerts and entertainment, and 23 table games.
The local Chamber of Commerce sponsors a fun program called 'Finders Keepers' and annually hides 3000 hand blown glass sand dollars and Japanese sea floats along the 7 1/2 miles of Lincoln City beach! Be sure to walk the beach in front of your condo and look along the cliffs and among the grass and driftwood for these valuable collector items!
Lincoln City is home to the 'D River', the shortest river in the world. That river drains westward from Devil's Lake into the Pacific Ocean. Fishing on Devils Lake happens at Blue Heron Landing, just south of Hwy 101 at West Devils Lake Road. 541-994-4708. They rent supply bait and other equipment. Canoes, kayaks, motor boats, pontoon, hydrobikes and jet skiing also can be rented.
Ten miles south of Lincoln City is an exit for Boiler Bay State Park. It is famous for incredible ocean views, as well as one of the best places to spot migrating and resident gray whales.
Thirteen miles south of Lincoln City...turn right onto Otter Crest Loop for a more direct ocean drive. Off this Loop is also Cape Foulweather Visitor Center and Devils Punchbowl State Park, so named as at high tide, seawater swirls within a cavern appearing like a punchbowl. This park features 180-degree ocean views, whale sightings, fascinating rock formations, and is very popular with surfers and surf watchers. After a stop here, continue south on Otter Crest Loop to rejoin US-101
Just 30 miles south is the town of Newport on Yaquina Bay, with it's working fleet of fishing vessels, plus sea lions basking on the docks and dozens of quaint bayfront shops and curio stores and restaurants.
World-famous Oregon Coast Aquarium is also located in Newport, as well as the Maritime Museum and the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Two lighthouses, at Yaquina Bay State Park and Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, are also here in Newport.
Your days will be delightful, whether beach combing for glass floats or shopping or dining or reading in front of the fireplace!
