About the owner: I fell in love with the north shore when I moved here in my twenties. The landscape, definitely harsh at times, with it's seasonal drama and beauty continues to grip me and hold me in awe. I love to travel, but I continue to call this place home. Presently my work is as an RN at the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic in Grand Marais. Hopefully you will not need to visit here, but if you do you will realize why we feel so lucky to have this Community Health Clinic as our health care facility. I am also known for my landscape work and ceramic art. A work of note is the Angry Trout Bathroom. Enjoy a yummy meal and then take a side trip to the bathroom to check out my work. I also have an adventurous side and have put in many miles on the trails and waterways of this area as well as elsewhere.
